God of War Ragnarok's eighteenth chapter, Beyond Ragnarok, takes place after the main quest has been completed. It follows Kratos, Freya, and Mimir on their journey through the Nine Realms after the events of Ragnarok. Though most of their goals were achieved during the main story, there is still a great deal for them to do in the post-game.
God of War Ragnarok's post-game features an array of new objectives. Though some of them can be encountered during the main quest, some optional scenarios only become available after the story's climax. It takes approximately twenty to twenty-five hours to complete the main quest, but it might take even longer to complete the post-game.
Open The Remaining Nornir Chests
Nornir Chests can be difficult to unlock, but the items inside are usually worth the effort. They contain Idunn Apples and Horns of Blood Mead, two items that can permanently increase Kratos' maximum health and rage meter. Though they are not required to complete the post-game, the buffs they give can help a great deal during some of the post-game's more difficult battles.
Nornir Chests are hidden throughout the world, so the player will need to do some exploring if they wish to find them all. Finding them is the fun part; opening them can take some time.

Finish Upgrading Equipment
If the player has been searching Red Coffins and Legendary Chests throughout their Ragnarok journey, Kratos' Leviathan Axe, Blades of Chaos, and Draupnir Spear should be quite powerful. That said, it is unlikely they will have reached their true potential by the end of the game's main story.
God of War Ragnarok's post-game is home to some absurdly powerful enemies, so the player should ensure Kratos is as strong as he physically can be. To do this, XP should be used to unlock all of his skills, and Hacksilver and various resources should be used to enhance his equipment.
Vanquish Odin's Ravens
Though Odin is absent from Ragnarok's post-game, he continues to plague the realms through his ravens. He uses these creatures to spy on Kratos and Atreus throughout their journey, and even though he's gone, they continue to obey their master's demands. They can be hard to find, but the rewards received for defeating them are well worth the effort.
There are forty-eight Odin's Ravens scattered across the realms, and though some can be found while progressing through the main story, most of them reside in the game's optional areas. The player can access all the ravens during Ragnarok's post-game, so long as they complete certain Favors.
Complete Favors
Players will happen upon various optional quests known as Favors while playing God of War Ragnarok's campaign. Those who didn't manage to complete them the first time around can return during the post-game to where they found them to see where they lead. There are no missable quests in God of War Ragnarok, so the player can backtrack during the post-game to complete them all if they wish.
There is a total of forty-seven Favors to complete, so anyone who left them until the post-game will have their hands full for a while. The great thing about completing them is that they can reward the player with some of the best equipment in the game, and some can even reveal secret areas.

Find The Artifacts
It's likely the player came across a few Artifacts while advancing through the main story, but some can only be found during God of War Ragnarok's post-game. Though they are easy to spot thanks to the purple glow they emit, finding all thirty-eight of them can be quite challenging.
Upon collecting an Artifact, the player will be given the chance to learn a bit more about the game's lore. Collecting all thirty-eight Artifacts unlocks The Curator trophy, so completionists will need to scavenge every corner of the world in search of them if they hope to fully complete the game.
- Where to Find Every Collectible
- Where to Find All Things Left Behind (Svartalfheim Artefacts)
- Where to Find All Tributes to Freyr (Alfheim Artefacts)
- Where to Find All Family Crests (Vanaheim Artefacts)
- Where to Find All Stolen Treasures (Midgard Artefacts)
- Where to Find All Spirit Mementos (Vanaheim Crater Artefacts)
Find Kvasir's Poems
To unlock The Librarian trophy, Ragnarok players need to find all fourteen Kvasir's Poems. These pieces of writing can be found both during the main quest and the post-game. Though finding them is rewarding in itself, reading them is arguably the best part.
Kvasir's Poems allude to a variety of other popular PlayStation titles. Though it can be hard to tell what each text is referring to, those who have played the game in question will likely figure it out within the first few rhymes.
Defeat The Berserkers
During Chapter 14: Unlocking The Mask, players will come across a tombstone that appears to hold little importance. Upon returning to this location as Kratos, however, the player can interact with it to summon forth a bafflingly powerful boss.
Like the Valkyries in the previous game, Berserkers can be exceptionally difficult foes to defeat. There are ten Berserker Gravestones available in the post-game, but the player will need to defeat thirteen Berserkers to unlock the Grave Mistake trophy.
Close The Draugr Holes
Draugrs are usually quite easy to deal with, but some can pose quite a challenge. Upon discovering a Draugr Hole, the player will be forced into a battle against a creature known as The Hateful, a frighteningly powerful Draugr with a variety of deadly attacks.
Upon defeating six of these beings, the player will be rewarded with six Chaos Sparks that, when combined, create the Chaos Flames, a valuable material needed to upgrade the Blades of Chaos. Though defeating The Hateful can be an arduous task, the reward earned for doing so makes the process worthwhile.
God of War: Ragnarok is available now for PS4 and PS5.
