When it comes to God of War, there are a lot of figures and statues fans can buy of the series' protagonists, but not the various gods and monsters Kratos has encountered. With so many interesting characters, it's a shame they aren't more available. That's why one fan took it upon himself to create his own giant Hades figure using a fictional character from an entirely different universe as the base.

Hades aided Kratos early on in the series only to become another obstacle to the Ghost of Sparta at the conclusion of the original God of War trilogy. When Kratos confronts Hades, players see just what a hulking beast the god of the Underworld is. That's why it's appropriate that the father of Reddit user snek12365 used Marvel's Hulk as the base for creating his Hades figure.

It's more than a simple paint job, however. The creator added all of Hades' attire and even his weapon, the Claws of Hades. Once the very large figure of Hades was finished, snek12365 posted a photo of his father's creation to Reddit.

It feels like forever ago that Kratos was taking down the Greek pantheon. Now he's a dad and in the middle of a journey that will likely end with him taking down most of the Norse pantheon. A new trailer for God of War: Ragnarok was released earlier this month at the PlayStation Showcase. A lot about the sequel's story was made clearer.

Atreus is a bit older and more interested than ever in exploring his roots after the major reveal at the end of the first game. This will take him and Kratos to new locations, where they'll encounter new friends and enemies. The God of Thunder Thor is one of the major antagonists in God of War: Ragnarok. His character design, which looks nothing like Chris Hemsworth, has been the source of several memes since the trailer premiered.

One of the biggest reveals in the trailer is that Tyr will make his debut in the sequel. The Norse god of war was mentioned many times in the first game and was an ever-present figure in the story. Now that it's confirmed Kratos and Atreus will meet him in the flesh, Tyr's appearance has huge implications for God of War's story.

Perhaps the most surprising news from the sequel came after the trailer reveal, during an interview with director Eric Williams. It was confirmed that God of War: Ragnarok is the end of the Norse saga, making this portion of Kratos' journey a duology instead of a trilogy as many assumed it would be.

There's no telling yet if Kratos will return to Helheim, Norse mythology's equivalent to the Greek underworld, or if he will encounter the ruler there, the goddess Hel. If audiences do get to see Hel, let's hope she is as intimidating as Hades. If so, fans may make statues of her as well.

God of War: Ragnarok will release in 2022 for PS4 and PS5.
