God of War Ragnarok is finally coming out tomorrow after a year-long delay. One talented fan has created an impressive piece of art in homage to Kratos, the legendary protagonist of God of War Ragnarok.

God of War Ragnarok, the sequel to 2018’s God of War, is lining up to be one of the biggest game releases of 2022. The God of War Ragnarok reviews are out now for those interested in the game. Most reviews have been extremely positive so far, with many players having nothing but praise for the conclusion to the Norse saga. The reemergence of the God of War franchise has inspired players to create various pieces of content and art in honor of this epic Norse saga.

Reddit is often brimming with exceptional pieces of art, creations from passionate fans wishing to share their work with the community, and this case is no different. In the final few days before God of War Ragnarok, Reddit user NabeelaTheArtist posted a stunningly detailed and impressive charcoal drawing of the legendary Spartan himself, Kratos. They have captioned their post by stating that the drawing took them a whopping 103 hours from start to finish. While fans like NabeelaTheArtist have created their own work, those involved in the game itself have been getting creative too, creating a video of the God of War himself telling dad jokes.

This is not the first time that players have been impressed by a fellow fan's artwork based on their favorite Spartan. Another Reddit user created a digital painting of Kratos, standing as another example of the depth of quality in the pool of artists over on Reddit.

Regardless of how different players have reacted to the God of War games, it is hard to argue that NabeelaTheArtist’s drawing is anything other than beautiful. Posting such a stunning drawing less than 48 hours before the release of GoW Ragnarök, one of the most anticipated sequels in recent memory, is a fitting way to round off the long wait for what is looking like one of the highlights of the gaming calendar in 2022.

With the latest installment in Kratos' story on the horizon, it's great to see fans of the franchise engaging with the character that was first introduced back in 2005. Even the art itself displays how much Kratos has aged since he first emerged as a furious god killer in those original God of War titles.

God of War Ragnarok will be available on November 9th on PS4 and PS5.
