Gnosia already had its release date revealed yesterday but a new trailer from Nintendo itself officially locks it in for March 4th as a Nintendo Switch exclusive. Both Nintendo's website and the Switch's eShop have it listed to pre-order for $24.99/£22.49, but it does seem like it will only be available digitally, unlike in Japan where a physical version was released.

As for the new trailer, it doesn't reveal much else new aside from showing off more of the eclectic cast players will be spending all their time with, which appears to include some sort of beluga whale-looking thing in a spacesuit. It also re-establishes Gnosia's premise: mysterious beings called Gnosia have snuck onboard a spaceship and are posing as the crew members. It's up to the player to decide who to trust and try to figure out who the Gnosia is and put them in cold sleep.

The trailer openly describes it as being similar to the classic Werewolf game, though many have been quick to compare it to Among Us as well. It also incorporates RPG elements and has plenty of replay value, as play sessions can be quite short but will have different outcomes, meaning the Gnosia's identity isn't always the same. What's more, a time loop of some kind is involved and players will need to figure out why time is looping and how to escape it.

It originally released in 2019 as a PlayStation Vita exclusive in Japan, where it received plenty of acclaim. IGN Japan even gave it a score of 10/10. It later released for the Switch and was only announced for a Western release this past December.

Gnosia will release for the Nintendo Switch on March 4th.
