The next few weeks are jammed-packed with new triple-a games, as many of 2021's biggest delayed games settle into their final release dates. Along with them is Ghostwire Tokyo, the upcoming action-horror game from Tango Gameworks and Bethesda. Ghostwire Tokyo releases relatively soon, but a new gameplay deep dive has given fans their best look at it yet to help scratch the itch.

Lasting about 10 minutes, the deep dive footage covers a range of topics, from combat to the enemies that players will face along the way. Players will use an ability called Ethereal Weaving to overcome challenges, allowing them to "channel raw Ether" and use elements like wind and fire. Ghostwire Tokyo also features a range of traditional weapons, like a bow, that will help players along the way.

While the abilities in the trailer are flashy on their own, Ghostwire Tokyo is also putting a special emphasis on Tokyo itself, offering an in-depth look at the city. As the name implies, Tokyo will take center stage in Ghostwire Tokyo, clearly being an important aspect of the experience to the development team. It's not uncommon for a game's setting to be as much of a character as the protagonist, but that seems especially true here.

As players make their way through Ghostwire Tokyo, they'll encounter Torii Gates, which must be cleared if they want to disperse a dense fog that chips away at their health. Of course, the health-devouring fog isn't the only thing that players have to worry about as they play, as the city is also full of enemies for players to take down with their flashy abilities.

While Ghostwire Tokyo's enemies have shown up in gameplay trailers in the past, the new footage shows many more of them. While some of them simply look like Slenderman, others have far more disturbing designs to them that are genuinely unsettling. They also appear to be fairly varied, which is always a perk when it comes to games.

While there are still plenty of mysteries waiting to be solved in Ghostwire Tokyo, this look at it in motion is a positive for fans that have been itching to learn more. Ghostwire Tokyo is one of the biggest games releasing this year. However, it's also one of the final games published by Bethesda that will have a timed exclusivity window on PlayStation consoles. Future Bethesda games will mostly be exclusives, it seems, so PlayStation fans may want to soak this one up.

Ghostwire Tokyo releases March 25 for PC and PS5.
