Getting platinum is a demanding task. Most of the trophies are gained while progressing through the game. Players can get platinum even on the highest difficulty because it not affected by that. It is advised that the hunt for trophies should begin after the main quest because many are gained in the process. It's a chore to get all the 52 trophies. Here is a look at most tiresome and hardest to gain trophies

10 Master Liberator

After completing the main quest, half of the work would've already been done in getting this trophy. It requires to clear all the Mongol camps in the Tsushima land. This is the most time-consuming trophy. There are 3 main regions - Izuhara, Kamiagata, and Toyotama- in Tsushima. There are 21 camps in Izuhara, 14 in Kamiagata and 16 in Toyotama, so that's a total of 51 regions

It'll be easier to pursue this trophy after the game has ended. Since Jin would be maxed out and clearing those camps would be a piece of cake. 6 additional trophies are also gained after completing it. So it's not a bad deal.

9 Body, Mind, and Spirit

This is another time-consuming trophy. The developers worked hard on this game and they want players to see every corner of it. Therefore, this trophy is gained through after visiting every Hot spring (18 in total), Haiku (19 in total, 3 are found in the main quest), Inari Shrines(49), and Bamboo Strikes(16).

They may seem like a tedious task but there is a reward for every action. Bamboo strikes raise Jin's resolve. Inari shrines award a charm slot and additional charms that keep getting powerful after visiting more shrines. Hot Spring's increases Jin's Health. Haikus give a customized headband, which is not so great, eh!

8 There Can Be Only One

There are 25 duel locations in Ghost of Tsushima. "There Can Be Only One" is gained after winning all the duels. Duels are 1 on 1 special boss fights that only begin once a Mongol camp is cleared. They are marked all over the map, so finding them won't be difficult.

Duels are won easily if played with focus and parries are timed perfectly. If stuck at one enemy, then players can always reduce the game difficulty or come back after leveling up. Some duels are unlocked later in the story, so this is also an after game priority trophy. Rewarding a bronze for such a task was an injustice to the players.

7 Cooper Clan Cosplayer

This is a cameo from Sucker Punch production previous stealth game- Sly Cooper( who is a male raccoon). This one can be quite tricky since the players can't find the collectibles to complete the cosplay. There are three main items; Crooked Kama Headband, Wolf of Tsushima( Mask), Gosaku's Armor, and Sly Tanuki Sword kit.

The Crooked Kama Headband is located in Jogaku Temple's tallest building, which is climbed by using the grapple hook. Wolf of Tsushima( Mask) is rewarded after finding all the Inari shrines. The Gosaku's armor is gained by completing The Unbreakable Gosaku mythic tale, which unlocks in Act 2. The sword kit is obtained by claiming it from Pillars of Honor located in Kamiagata, on the eastern side of kin.

6 The Ghost of Legend

The goal of this trophy is simple but takes the most effort. Jin has to reach the highest legend rank. Legend rank is increased by actually playing the game and grinding through it. Achieving higher ranks rewards with technique points that can be used to learn new skills.

Players will be pretty close to getting this trophy after completing all the others and ending the main quest. Ghost of Tsushima is the final and required rank. Side-missions can quickly raise Jin's rank.

5 All in the Wrist

All in the Wrist requires some preparation first. It is completed by killing the maximum numbers of enemies in a single standoff, which is 5, not 3. The standoff is an impressive skill that allows us to kill enemies in one clean hit, but the timing needs to be perfect for it to work.

The Clan Sakar Armor increases the offensive ability of Jin, by upgrading the health and melee damage. It also raises the standoff kills from 3 to 5. It is a requirement to equip this armor.

4 Honour the Unseen

This trophy is like something straight out of Dark Souls or Sekiro due to its difficulty. Jin has to bow to 10 hidden altars in Tsushima. Here's the catch, their location is not marked on the map and there is nothing else that can give players a hint.

Players are left with two options; scour the whole Tsushima or google the altar location. Of course, its the latter. It requires traveling to the different corners of the map. Therefore, consumes a lot of time.

3 Flash of Steel

Parrying is one of the first skills to be unlocked in the skills tree. It's also a fundamental element of the game's combat system. Practicing it to perfection is necessary to enjoy the game's combat. Perfect parry is performed after pressing the block button on the exact moment of the enemy's strike. This creates an opening for a one-hit kill.

Flash of Steel is obtained by perfect parrying 20 enemies. This can prove to be very difficult, so it is recommended to dial down the difficulty level.

2 Helping Sword Hand

This one is a gold trophy completed by completing all the tales of Tsushima. Tales of Tsushima are sidequest meant to develop the supporting characters of the games. These sidequest does not feel lethargic because they have a memorable story backing them up. There are 61 total tales plus 7 mythic tales.

Other than that there are sidequests available in all 3 regions. This trophy can be pursued while progressing through the main story. Because running around all over the map, in the end, is irksome

1 Living Legend

The hardest of them all is, of course, the platinum trophy- Living Legend. Ghost of Tsushima is 25 hours long without any sidequest and 45 hours for a 100% completion. There are a total of 3 Acts and 24 main missions.

So this trophy can take quite a time. Players who have struggled to get all the 51 trophies to gain platinum are worthy of calling themselves fans of Ghost of Tsushima
