The physical version of Ghostrunner for Nintendo Switch is available for pre-order now. Ghostrunner is a highly regarded first-person action game released this year that is already available on Switch digitally, but soon it will be available physically as well.
Ghostrunner is a unique game, but it draws aspects from various other action titles. The wall running can feel like Titanfall, while the quick movement and kill-to-kill action has drawn comparisons to Doom, just with a sword instead of guns. In a year filled with a lot of successful titles, Ghostrunner is somewhat of a hidden gem for some.
The digital version of the Ghostrunner on the Nintendo Switch currently runs at $29.99 USD. Meanwhile the physical version, which can be pre-ordered at Play Asia, costs $34.99 USD. It can be purchased in multiple languages and will work on a Switch sold in any region, but it is not expected to ship until January 28, 2021.
For those who pick up the physical version, they should be able to snag it just in time for the new Winter DLC headed to Ghostrunner. For Switch users, the Winter DLC will arrive on January 14, 2021. With the physical version shipping on the 28, that will hopefully be enough time to enjoy the game and then dive back in for round two with the new DLC. Featuring a Hard Mode and some festive clothing, the content is already live on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions of the game.
Ghostrunner is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. Versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X are currently in development.
