How To Terrify

Thankfully, the game has numerous ways to inspire fear into enemies. The easiest way is with poison darts, which is unlocked during Act 2 from the main quest called Ghosts from the Past. The item can be used at a distance, so find a nice vantage point and then use it on an unsuspecting enemy which should cause other around him to start to panic from the surprise attack. Alternatively, more direct players can use the Ghost Stance and Terrifying Parry to cause the same effect.

In addition, players should equip Ghost Armor, which increases the chance to terrify enemies. This gear is also earned in Act 2 in a quest called From The Darkness.

What to Do

With the specific gear in hand, players should find an enemy camp or village. Anywhere that has multiple enemies in close proximity. Use a blow dart to start making the camp appear worried and another to really get enemies scared. Keep an eye out for enemies that have sudden reactions to the poison dart such falling on the ground in shock or recoiling in horror. Another clue is through the voice work which can indicate someone who's terrified.

Keep the bow at the ready and watch for enemies who quickly move away and start running in the opposite direction. To earn this trophy, simply hit them in the back with an arrow, they don't need to be killed for it to pop.
