Sucker Punch Productions’ Ghost of Tsushima offers a vast open world with tons of nooks and crannies to explore and an abundant number of collectibles. It’s the perfect game for those 100% completionists and PS4 Trophy Hunters out there.

But while many of the trophies in Ghost of Tsushima are fairly self-explanatory, there are a few that are unclear in their direction. For example, the Dirge of the Fallen Forge Trophy in Ghost of Tsushima has some specific requirements in order to complete.

But in order to know how to unlock the Dirge of the Fallen Forge Trophy, players will need to make their way through most of Act 2 of the game and get into some story spoiler territory. SPOILER WARNING.

The description for the Dirge of the Fallen Forge Trophy requires that Jin play the “Lament of the Storm” at a friend’s grave. This means that Ghost of Tsushima players need to do two different things: acquire the Lament of the Story song and find the friend’s grave.

Unlocking the Lament of the Storm song is only a matter of collecting Singing Crickets. These Singing Crickets cages can be found at graveyards throughout Tsushima island.

Players can either listen for the crickets chirping nearby or they can use the Traveler’s Attire outfit, which triggers a controller vibration when a collectible is nearby. With the Traveler’s Attire equipped, players can also use the Guiding Wind to target them on the map and follow the path of the gusts.

There are a lot of Singing Crickets in Ghost of Tsushima, but luckily players only need to find 5 of them to unlock the Lament of the Storm song. They can then equip the song in the Accessories section of the Gear tab on the menu and then play the song by swiping left on the PS4 Touchpad.

While it is easy to get the Lament of the Storm sony early on in the game, the second part is timegated to the story missions. In Act 2, Khotun Khan captures both Jin and Taka and holds them at Castle Shimura. Taka eventually tries to attack Khotun and is killed.

Following some combat sequences and cutscenes with Taka’s sister Yuna, the game will transition to a grave site where the two have buried Taka. If players have the Lament of the Storm song, they can play it right then and there. The Fallen Forge part of the Trophy highlights the fact that Taka was a blacksmith and made some weaponry and gadgets for Jin.

If players don’t have the song, they can still visit the grave easily. It is marked as Taka’s Grave on the map and it is a fast travel point.

Many of the PS4 Trophies in Ghost of Tsushima are self-explanatory and a matter of collecting a lot of items, but this is an example of one that players could piece together if they looked at the description or could completely miss. Still, if there is one important thing to keep in mind it’s using the Traveler’s Attire as often as possible when exploring Ghost's game world.

Ghost of Tsushima is available now for PS4.
