Just a week ahead of its release of Ghost Recon: Wildlands' Narco Road DLC, the developers at Ubisoft have made a lot of changes to the open world tactical shooter with Update 3.0, and has released the full patch notes for the game, which can be found at the bottom of the article. As one would expect, the latest update for the title contains a plethora of bug fixes and performance refinements, as well as some balance tweaks that have been implemented thanks to Ubisoft listening to player feedback.

Perhaps the most intriguing portion of the patch notes for Update 3.0 in Ghost Recon: Wildlands is Ubisoft's decision to incorporate a set of weekly challenges for solo or co-op play that will reset every Wednesday. Players will be able to earn up to three in-game rewards every week–each season lasts six weeks–with the first being called The Rise and Fall of Unidad, while each following season will contain its own unique theme.

Furthermore, Ghost Recon: Wildlands' Update 3.0 alters some of the dialogue between characters, as well as bits of chatter that are heard over the radio. To be specific, players should hear fewer repeated lines in the game once the patch is applied. Not to mention, the latest update in the Bolivia-based shooter also fixes an issue involving situations where players' experience bars were getting stuck.

Those wondering exactly how much space to save for Ghost Recon: Wildlands Update 3.0 would to well to know that it weighs in at 5.3 GB for its console iterations and up to 6.5 GB on PC. That said, though, version 3.0 is only available for download right now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while PC users are going to have to wait until 1:00 AM PT / 4:00 AM ET / 9:00 AM BST on April 14 to get the latest patch.

While all of the fixes implemented by Ubisoft for Ghost Recon: Wildlands is good to see, as it should makes the action a much more enjoyable experience for the game's fans, most players are still eagerly awaiting an update involving the long-promised free PvP elements. With this being the case, perhaps developers will add the feature once Narco Road goes live next week for Ghost Recon: Wildlands' Season Pass holders.
