When it first launched, players of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint were frustrated to find some severe gameplay bugs, and a lack of content to make up for them. Although the game has continued to receive continued support from developer Ubisoft, from different DLC packs to a crossover with the Terminator universe, fans still had to deal with some glitches until now.

After a massive gameplay overhaul in the game's latest "Immersive Mode" update, Ubisoft is focusing its attention on more technical features of the game to create a more enjoyable and functional experience for players. In the patch notes for Breakpoint's latest update, the developer revealed that player HUDs and respawn systems had been polished, among other improvements.

Specifically, Ubisoft has added more "relevant" respawn points to Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. The game also now respawns players at the last location they traveled through to avoid disorienting the players with unfamiliar locations. BASE Jumps are also now more lenient than before, and UI updates allow the player to better see ammo boxes and loot that enemies drop. HUDs also show what mission players are on, and even allow them to switch between the game's episodes at will.

Between its two latest updates, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint has taken some major steps towards improving its user experience. Hopefully, players will return to the game with something to look forward to. If the improved gameplay isn't enticing enough, Breakpoint's next crossover with Splinter Cell is coming.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
