Ubisoft is going all-out with its Ghost Recon Breakpoint marketing efforts which include a few trailers featuring celebrities, Let's Play sessions, and of course, the inclusion of The Terminator as a character. On Wednesday, Ubisoft released another trailer for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint featuring Lil Wayne. The new live-action trailer brings back the in-game characters from the previous promotions including Nomad. However, this time, Lil Wayne, his squad, and Snoop Dogg are the ones voicing these characters.

The closed beta for Ghost Recon Breakpoint ran from September 6 to September 9, and not everyone got access. However, the new trailer was released along with the details for the game's next beta launching next week, which will run from September 26 to September 29. Unlike the previous beta, this one will be an open beta which means everyone can get access without having to signup for anything. According to the announcement by Ubisoft, any progress made in the closed or open beta won't carry over to the full game.

This is not the first time rapper Lil Wayne appeared in a Breakpoint trailer, he also participated in a Let's Play session for the game along with three YouTubers, but Snoop Dogg, on the other hand, marks his first appearance in the game. It remains to be seen whether the rappers are only limited to the marketing material or if they will be part of the game's story like Punisher actor Jon Bernthal.

Apart from the four-player co-op mode, the new beta will also bring PvP which wasn’t part of the closed beta. There will be four different maps available for the PvP and Elimination will be the only multiplayer game mode available in the beta. For those who are more interested in the single-player mode, there will be new areas to explore and new missions to complete. As already confirmed by Ubisoft, the progress won't carry over from the beta, so it's better to wait for the full game release to enjoy all the missions that the game has to offer. It has been confirmed by the game's developers that there will be 12 new missions every day in Breakpoint.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint launches on October 4 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
