It's hard to believe that Ghost of Tsushima has only been out for a few weeks, and yet it continues to garner widespread critical success and attention from the gaming community. For how long this game has been teased, Ghost of Tsushima has managed to deliver a fun, brutal, and compelling experience for players to enjoy. The most recent update for the game has released and includes a couple of new features.

The previous patch of Ghost of Tsushima included a new difficulty mode and user accessibility options. It's nice to see that Sucker Punch has continued to listen to what fans are saying in terms of what features or mechanics could add to the experience or make things more efficient, which is exactly what this latest update accomplishes.

Patch 1.06 for Ghost of Tsushima contains numerous bug and crash fixes, as is typical with most patches to essentially any game. In fact, the very first patch of Ghost of Tsushima primarily included bug fixes. In addition, Sucker Punch also added an expanded large text option for players that have a hard time reading the on-screen text. Though, none of these additions are the highlight of this most recent patch.

For those who take pride in achievement hunting, they will be happy to know that Sucker Punch added new enhancements to the Traveler's Attire. When a collectible is nearby, a visual or audio cue will play, very similar to mechanics that were introduced in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This ability can also replace or augment controller vibration as a means of offering a more efficient experience.

This patch offers a lot of quality of life improvements to an already intuitive experience. With an expansive open world to explore and discover, this patch should help many Ghost of Tsushima players with collectibles that are harder to find. In any case, this patch will make life easier especially for trophy hunters.

Though, for those who enjoy a challenge and take joy in unguided exploration, this might make the game a bit too easy, which is understandable. Many players enjoy the sense of exploration and discovery that Ghost of Tsushima provides, so hopefully, for those individuals, this is a mechanic that they can turn off. With any luck, Sucker Punch will continue to listen to fan suggestions in order to improve Ghost of Tsushima.
