It certainly seems like Sucker Punch is getting into the holiday spirit, as the studio is providing its fans with several new Ghost of Tsushima outfits. Based on some of the most iconic PlayStation games and franchises, the special armor sets should be exciting for any Ghost of Tsushima fan.

Posted on the official PlayStation Twitter account, fans can acquire the “outfits inspired by iconic PlayStation characters” until January 15. Sucker Punch is only tasking players with completing a single mission as each class in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends to acquire the themed skins, meaning that the four outfits can be earned rather quickly. More than worth the effort, the PlayStation-themed costumes look different from all the armor designs that are currently available in the game.

The first design certainly stands out the most, as it lets players embody the look of one of the Collossi from Team Ico’s iconic Shadow of the Colossus. With the unique fur and stone mixture seen on the outfit’s helmet as well as some fitting patterns scattered across the character’s body, the look likes it was pulled straight from Shadow of the Colossus. While it would have been easier to go with Wander’s outfit, Sucker Punch’s creativity with the look is certainly commendable.

The next outfit is based on Kratos from God of War, with the character’s iconic ash skin and spiral tattoo showing on the armor’s design. With a clever touch of the chains from the Blades of Chaos seen on the character’s arms, the costume is a great homage to Kratos. Not to be outdone by the Ghost of Sparta, Aloy from Horizon: Zero Dawn gets a special skin in Ghost of Tsushima as well. Adapting her original look almost perfectly and even making use of a bow in the image released, this PlayStation crossover skin resembles the character inspiring it the most.

Rounding out the list is a Bloodborne crossover skin, which sees feathers on the armor’s shoulders as well as a face mask beneath the cracked straw hat. While players are unlikely to see a Bloodborne sequel anytime soon, they can cope by cosplaying as a Hunter trapped in the Ghost of Tsushima universe. Both a special gift for the holidays and a great incentive to give Ghost of Tsushima’s solid multiplayer a try, these PlayStation-themed skins are a very welcome surprise.

On top of these special skins to wear while playing Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, a Sucker Punch developer shared a festive card to celebrate the holidays as well. Based on Jin Sakai, the image serves as a great wallpaper for fans, giving fans of Ghost of Tsushima another special present to celebrate the holiday season.

Ghost of Tsushima is available now exclusively for the PS4.
