Ghost of Tsushima’s second life is about to begin after the game’s launch earlier this summer. Now that the Ghost of Tsushima: Legends’ release date is finally here, fans of the game have tons of brand new content to look forward to.

The Legends expansion’s main attraction is the all-new co-op mode, which focuses on the more spiritual and other-world aspects of the island of Tsushima. Now that players are finally able to jump into Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, those playing with English voice-over have discovered the Legends’ narrator is none other than Greg Baldwin, the voice of Uncle Iroh from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

While the development team at Sucker Punch was nervous about Tsushima’s setting, given the fact that Sucker Punch is a Western studio, the game performed well in the West. For those who wanted to experience Tsushima’s rich Japanese environments and setting, but didn’t want to have to constantly read subtitles, the game was fully voiced in English. Now, with the Legends expansion out now, another English performance arrives via actor Greg Baldwin as the mode’s narrator.

Uncle Iroh is perhaps Baldwin's most well-known role, becoming iconic in the latter half of Avatar: The Last Airbender’s run. Iroh’s original voice actor, Japanese-American actor Mako Iwamatsu, voiced many of Iroh’s appearances until the actor passed away during the show’s production. Baldwin has said in the past that the cast album of the musical Pacific Overtures, which Mako starred in, was one of his personal favorite albums to listen to. As such, Baldwin was very familiar with Mako’s unique accent and way of speaking.

As a result, Baldwin was often used as a voice-double for Mako in shows like Avatar and Samurai Jack. Baldwin of course has plenty of voice acting credits behind him, even appearing in games like BioShock, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and Fallout 4. In Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, Baldwin provides the English voice for the character Gyozen, who serves as the narrator for the multiplayer mode. While Ghost of Tsushima’s Japanese voice cast does a similar job throughout the game, fans of Baldwin may want to give the English voice settings a listen while playing Legends.

Though the Legends expansion doesn’t focus on characters from the main narrative of Tsushima like Jin or Yuna, other side characters will feature throughout the mode, like Gyozen. Despite Ghost of Tsushima: Legends focusing on multiplayer, Sucker Punch has confirmed that there will be story-centric missions available for players to take part in. Players can look forward to hearing Baldwin’s performance as Gyozen as Ghost of Tsushima: Legends releases on PS4 starting today.

Ghost of Tsushima is available now on PS4.
