For those still on the fence about picking up Ghost of Tsushima, which launches today exclusively for PS4, Sony is doing a little bit of last-second marketing. A new trailer for Ghost of Tsushima was released recently, detailing the open-world action-adventure game's various customization options. Sony wants to make sure players know that Sucker Punch has put together a robust set of features to enable players to create a unique experience exactly how they want it.

The trailer starts by detailing the most straight forward aspect of customization in Ghost of Tsushima -- character customization. In Ghost of Tsushima protagonist Jin Sakai can be customized in a couple of different ways. First, he can have his entire set of armor swapped, with each set of armor offering unique bonuses. Whether players want to be a proud warrior samurai or a disciplined ninja, there are armor sets aligned with each goal.

Sakai also has unique abilities that the player will unlock while playing Ghost of Tsushima. Players will pick which abilities they want, allowing them to customize the way they play the game. Charms can also be equipped that augment Sakai the Ghost's abilities even further, ensuring each player's gameplay experience is unique.

Ghost of Tsushima's customized experience doesn't end with just character customization, however. Sucker Punch also added a really cool and unique feature for Ghost of Tsushima inspired by the works of Akira Kurosawa. It's a filter that can be used to play the game entirely in black and white, as if it was a classic samurai film.

Finally, the trailer shows off another important feature that works as a great accompaniment to Ghost of Tsushima's customization options. That is, of course, a photo mode. The Ghost of Tsushima photo mode offers al of the options players require to make the perfect mid-fight or open-world screenshot. Even the protagonist's facial expressions/emotions can be altered to better suit the mood of the photo.

The trailer doesn't even detail the option to play in a variety of different languages, including Japanese, or its accessibility options. The full extent of Ghost of Tsushima's customization will be up to players to discover on their own.

Ghost of Tsushima is available now on PS4.
