For fans familiar with Ghost of Tsushima, they might already know that there are merchants that can die armor sets in black and white to give Jin Sakai a unique flair to outfits. However, in the new Iki Island expansion as part of the Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, there's another dye merchant to find.

How to Get to Iki Island

The Crimson dye merchant can be found on Iki Island, which players can gain access to if they own the DLC or the Director's Cut. To get to Iki Island, players will need to at least be in Chapter 2 of Ghost of Tsushima's main story. Only then will the questline appear in the Iki Tales section of the menu. Players can track the quest by pressing X on the quest, and the wind will guide players to a settlement that needs to be investigated.

Hidden Cove Tournament

Before players can access the Crimson dye merchant, they will first need to complete the Hidden Cove Tournament on Iki Island. Ghost of Tsushima players can compete in this after completing the second to last main tale, "The Blessing of Death."

Once the Hidden Cove Tournament is wrapped up, players will be rewarded with a sword kit called The Hidden Heart, and the Ghost of Tsushima map will be updated with a new location. If players hold the options button when the notification appears, they will be shown the updated location of the Crimson dye merchant.

Crimson Dye Merchant Location

The Crimson Dye merchant will appear on Iki Island, just northwest of Tatsu's Ladder and South of Mount Takenotsuji. It is also southeast of Fort Sakai if that helps players out. It's possible to fast travel to a nearby location if players have been around there; if not, they can always call their trusty horse to escort them to the Ghost of Tsushima dye merchant quickly.

Players can then use any of the flowers they have collected to pay the merchant for new hats, masks, sword kits, and armor dyes. These items are purely cosmetic but can help players become unique-looking samurai on their journey to rid the Mongols of the island.

Once players find the merchant and buy everything they need, they can try to find some of the PlayStation Easter eggs, like a Bloodborne armor set.

Ghost of Tsushima is now available on PS4 and PS5.
