How to Get Gil in Final Fantasy 15

There are a bunch of different ways players can earn Gil in the game; some are easier to complete while some can take a bit of work. No matter what method players choose to get Gil in Final Fantasy 15, it’s very easy to acquire 2,000 Gil to complete the Xbox Game Pass quest. Here are the best ways to get Gil in Final Fantasy 15.

Acquiring Gil through Hunts

The best way to get Gil in the game is by taking on some lucrative Hunts. Most of the Hunts give players thousands of Gil in rewards with some reaching even six digits. However, the first few Hunts are extremely easy to complete and should be enough to net players a total of 2,000 Gil for their quests. Higher-level Hunts are tough to complete, but they offer huge rewards in the form of Gil, extra items, EXP, and AP. Players can pick up Hunts by talking to any Chef they come across in the game.

Acquiring Gil by Selling Treasures

Those who love exploring will often come across different types of items scattered around the world. Some of these items will be useful, but a lot of the stuff that players pick up can be sold for a decent amount of Gil. So, all players have to do is pick up everything they come across and pawn it off to any merchant for some cold, hard Gil.

Sometimes monsters will also drop valuable loot that players can sell for a decent payday. Upgrading Gladio’s survival skills will also increase the frequency and value of the monster drops, which means players can make more money while hunting down different monsters.

Acquiring Gil by Completing Side Quests

Similar to Hunts, side-quests also grant players some Gil for completion along with EXP. But, some are more lucrative than others, so it’s always better to participate in the more profitable questlines in the game. For example, the side-quest that requires players to take down Adamantoise rewards them a hefty 50,000 EXP and 50,000 Gil, which is a rather large sum for a marathon battle. Final Fantasy 15 offers a lot of content which means more opportunities for players to earn some in-game currency and buy valuable items.

Final Fantasy 15 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
