In the newest update for Genshin Impact, players can build their own homes and fill them with handmade furnishings. With the help of Tubby at the Serenitea Pot, players can build, decorate, and design. But in order to build a magnificent home, players will need all types of wood from all over the map.

Fir Wood

The first type of wood that players can collect after unlocking Genshin Impact housing is Fir. Fir trees are evergreen, Christmas-tree type trees with needle-like leaves.

Genshin Impact Wood Locations

Players can get three pieces of wood per tree, and those will respawn every few days. The locations of these trees are mainly at high elevations near Mondstadt; look around the Stormbearer Mountains and Starsnatch Cliff areas for Faber's Firs. Players should look to get as much of this wood as possible; it's used in many different blueprints.

Fragrant Cedar Wood

Genshin Impact Wood Locations

While fragrant cedar wood is only used in three building recipes currently, players will still most likely want to collect it for any future crafting blueprints in Genshin Impact. Players can currently use it to build a Red Cedar Curio Stand, Red Cedar Scroll Shelf, and the Shopkeeper's Cedar Shelf, which each need 12 pieces of this hard-to-find wood. Players need to look for Cedar trees in Dadaulpa Gorge, near the road. These trees are thin with small leaves. There will also be a few other kinds of trees here, including firs and Cuihuas, but they will be fewer in number.

Bamboo Segments

Genshin Impact Wood Locations

Bamboo segments are not to be confused with the cooking ingredient bamboo shoots. These are wooden pieces that are gotten by chopping down bamboo trees, which are very tall, very thin trees with green trunks. Genshin Impact's bamboo segments can be found along the roads and paths leading away from Qingce Village.

Sandbearer Wood

Genshin Impact Wood Locations

Sandbearer trees can be found all over Genshin Impact's map around Minlin and Lisha, but the best location to farm them is here, between the Harbor and Lingju Pass. Sandbearer trees have pale brown trunks and heart-shaped leaves.

Pine Wood

Genshin Impact Wood Locations

Pine trees are located all around Wuwang Hill, and players should be able to farm them easily in this area. If they are still in need of more pine wood for all those custom furnishing that need to be built in order to raise Trust levels with Tubby in Genshin Impact, they can also look around Dragonspine to find more of these tall, evergreen trees with needle-thin leaves.

Cuihua Wood

Genshin Impact Wood Locations

Cuihua trees are the fruit-bearing trees that provide players with apples and Sunsetta fruits. Players can find these trees all over the area surrounding Mondstadt, but they are mostly found in the very woody Dadaupa Gorge area.

Birch Wood

Genshin Impact Wood Locations

Birch trees have white trunks with dark gray tiger stripes on them. These unique-looking trees will also be found along the road leading through Dadaupa Gorge, along with a significant number of the other types of woods.

Genshin Impact is out now for mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5.
