Genshin Impact is a tremendously popular action RPG that runs on a gacha-based system which is very common in the mobile gaming industry. In order to acquire a character, players are often required to spend tons of Primogems on one of the game's banners and hope that their desired character drops as soon as possible.

Each character in the game has its own Constellation level, which can be upgraded up to six times by obtaining additional copies of the same character. A video posted on the official Genshin Impact subreddit shows the power of Ayaka's Constellations.

Redditor taroxiii has posted an interesting video featuring Kamisato Ayaka in a fight against the mighty Ruin Serpent. Even though the monster is a level 93 Normal Boss, it took Ayaka about 10 seconds to slice through its health bar, which would not be possible without her additional constellation levels. Ayaka is a five-star DPS character and one of the strongest characters in Genshin Impact at the moment. It should be noted that, while the Ruin Serpent is strong against Physical damage, the boss is vulnerable to Elemental damage, which is one of Ayaka's specialties.

The video has started an interesting discussion about whether it is really worth spending tens of thousands of Primogems in order to build up a character to Constellation level six. Going by the average pity numbers, a player is required to use around 130k Primogems to max out a character's Constellations. While some players think that it is okay to spend so many resources on a strong DPS character, others claim that spreading the Primogems into multiple five-star characters is way more fun and productive.

When it comes to Ayaka's constellation levels, players tend to either leave her on C0 or go for C2 and C4, considering that those levels give her a significant power spike. Both Kamisato Ayaka and the Ruin Serpent boss are part of the ongoing Genshin Impact Version 2.6. Players who want to acquire this five-star Cryo user have a couple of days left as HoYoverse officially confirmed that her banner is expiring with the arrival of 2.7, which is scheduled for May 31.

The Ruin Serpent can be found in the Serpent's Cave which is located in the underground part of the recently added Genshin Impact region Chasm. The main thing that should be focused on while fighting against this monster is destroying the Oozing Concentration, which allows it to charge and launch a special type of attack that can one-shot a character.

Genshin Impact is available now for mobile devices, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
