A new Genshin Impact video shows how well the upcoming character named Wanderer performs in the popular National team composition. The game allows players to swap between four different characters in their party in order to deploy different types of attacks and utility effects.

Genshin Impact's official social media accounts already confirmed the arrival of two new characters in version 3.3, Wanderer and Faruzan. While Wanderer is confirmed to be a new five-star character, recent rumors have revealed that Faruzan has a lower four-star rarity.

A new Genshin Impact video leak shows Wanderer's power when put in the National team composition which consists of Xiangling, Bennett, and Xingqiu. This is a very common type of team comp that relies on three or more four-star characters which makes it very free-to-play friendly. Most of these characters have been part of the game since release meaning that a big part of the player base has their constellation levels maxed out. The video proves that Wanderer is a great choice for this type of party due to his ability to receive different buffs depending on the elemental infusion on his Anemo attacks.

It should be noted that the damage numbers shown in the video are not completely reliable since the footage was taken in the current 3.3 beta phase. The main purpose of the video is to show how Wanderer interacts with other elements when put in a commonly used team composition. According to some fans, he is expected to be an S-tier DPS character with his damage potential being on par with characters like Kamisato Ayato or Arataki Itto. According to HoYoverse's update schedule, players can expect version 3.3 to arrive around December 5.

Both of these characters are rumored to receive their banner re-run in the upcoming Genshin Impact update 3.3 which will allow players to directly compare their damage numbers, at least in the test run. Fans are hoping that Wanderer arrives on the same banner as the other Anemo character Faruzan since they seem to have a great synergy.

Players who want to acquire the new five-star Anemo user should definitely try to get Wanderer's signature weapon named Alaya as it has the ability to get his DPS potential to the next level. Besides having Crit Damage as its secondary stat, Alaya also increases multiple buffs to Wanderer's Normal Attacks, especially when he activates his Elemental Skill which allows him to float above his enemies.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
