Genshin Impact fans have pointed out an interesting detail about one of the two characters that are scheduled for the upcoming update, the Anemo user Wanderer, previously known as Scaramouche. As the 6th Fatui Harbinger, Scaramouche appeared in the game's official storyline on multiple occasions as one of the main villains.

The ongoing Genshin Impact update 3.2 has added a brand new boss domain that features Scaramouche controlling an enormous Transformers-like creature. The game's official social media accounts have confirmed that he will be joined by another Anemo user named Faruzan in version 3.3.

A new post on the popular Genshin Impact leaks subreddit shows that a mark on Wanderer's neck apparently lights up when he uses his elemental skill, Hanega: Song of the Wind. The close-up image that was taken from the ongoing 3.3 beta phase also reveals that Wanderer has an Electro symbol on his neck despite being a new Anemo character. This could be due to the fact that he was originally created to be the Electro Archon, however, after shedding a couple of tears, Ei decided that he was too weak for the role. Scaramouche still had the ability to control the Electro element thanks to the power of his Delusion which was granted by Tsaritsa, the supreme ruler of Snezhnaya.

The current Electro Archon, Raiden Shogun, has a similar mark on her neck and according to a couple of fan-made theories, combining the two symbols with each other will result in a perfect circle. There is a lot of hype around Wanderer, who was expected to be one of the end-game bosses considering his power. His arrival in Sumeru was foreshadowed by his absence from the "A Winter Night's Lazzo" trailer.

According to previous leaks, Wanderer is expected to be a new Genshin Impact DPS character with a unique set of abilities. The previously mentioned elemental skill, Song of Wind, allows him to rise up in the air and send out different types of Anemo attacks while floating above his foes.

A recent video leak proves that Wanderer is a great fit for the famous National team comp which consists of three additional characters that have a lower four-star rarity which makes this type of party very free-to-play friendly. One of the two weapon banners in version 3.3 is rumored to include Wanderer's signature weapon which has the ability to significantly impact his DPS potential.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
