Genshin Impact has finally revealed the four-star characters that will appear on the first double banner for version 3.3. The previously released live stream already confirmed that the first banner cycle will allow players to pull for two different five-star characters, the long-awaited Anemo character Wanderer and the Geo claymore user Arataki Itto.

Genshin Impact's updates are usually divided into two separate parts which feature entirely different sets of limited characters and weapons. Each Limited Character Banner in the game includes one or two five-star characters and three four-star units.

The only confirmed four-star character in the Special Program was the mysterious Anemo user Faruzan. Four-stars are generally much easier to acquire as they run on a 10-wish pity system, meaning that players are guaranteed a four-star drop every ten wishes. However, it should be noted that getting a specific Genshin Impact four-star banner can be frustrating at times since the drop odds are divided between three units. According to Genshin Impact's official Twitter account, the upcoming banners will feature the following characters:

  • Wanderer - Anemo catalyst user
  • Arataki Itto - Geo claymore user
  • Faruzan - Anemo bow user
  • Gorou - Geo bow user
  • Yanfei - Pyro catalyst user

A lot of fans seem very satisfied with the four-star lineup, especially considering that Wanderer and Faruzan are placed on the same banner. This will allow players to acquire both new characters by pulling on the same banner which is usually not the case in most updates that have only two new roster additions. According to previous leaks, Faruzan will be an Anemo bow user with strong supportive capabilities. She will apparently be the go-to support for Wanderer which could be one of the reasons why they share the same banner.

Gorou was expected to appear on the same banner as Arataki Itto since his whole kit revolves around supporting this Geo colleague. Players who want to get the leader of the Arataki gang should definitely try to acquire this four-star character as well. It should be noted that even though he can be one of the best Genshin Impact supports, Gorou is also a very situational character who benefits from having additional Geo users in his team comp.

Yanfei is a great pick for players that need a decent Pyro DPS applicator on the field. Some fans even consider her to be better than the popular five-star catalyst user Klee, who was one of the first limited characters to arrive to Genshin Impact's playable roster.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
