Genshin Impact is just days away from its next major update, Version 1.2. While this December 23 patch will introduce the Cryo-heavy Dragonspine region to the game, players also expect a subsequent update to add a region called Inazuma to the game.

Inazuma may be known by Travelers as the birthplace of one of the newer Genshin Impact characters, Scaramouche. This region, clearly inspired by Japan, is rumored to be the centerpiece of Version 1.3, which will likely arrive in Spring 2021, and as per recent leaks, players should expect some interesting new weapons and characters.

Genshin Impact leaker NEP NEP has shared images of what are allegedly all of the Version 1.3/Inazuma weapons. This includes bows, catalysts, polearms, swords, and claymores, and more importantly, it includes the currently unavailable Dendro Vision. While this latter fact is currently unconfirmed, a fair number of the leaked weapons are entirely green, and exhibit designs highly reminiscent of existing in-game Dendro references.

Unsurprisingly based on existing nods to Inazuma, many of the weapons boast rather "traditional Japan"-inspired designs, and rely heavily on purple color schemes. There seem to be a "Bakufu," "Wildsith," "Narukami," "Kunwu," and "Morax" set of weapons, along with several other unique varieties. And while this leak may still change as the game develops, and/or be an incomplete leak, it also seems to suggest a focus on swords, bows, and catalysts, and a slight pivot away from claymores and polearms. This is likely intentional, given the current amount of featured claymore and polearm users, like Zhongli, Beidou, Xinyan, and Chongyun - not to mention the upcoming Xiao.

Many fans assumed "Wildsith" was a typo at first too, but it seems to be a new distinct collection of weapons, considering that there's a Wildsith catalyst. The existing Widsith is a catalyst. The Moonfall will be a unique bow featuring a gorgeous pearl-like design, while the Kunwu, another bow, looks like a weapon made of Zhongli's own geometric abilities.

The full gallery of images is linked below (see Source), but other standouts include the Jade (catalyst), the Transcendent (sword), and the Morax set (claymore, sword). These stand out because they're all entirely green in color, a feature that none of the existing weapons in Genshin Impact possess. This, together with their designs, indicate that they may be aligned with the Dendro Element.

The above is particularly noteworthy because the inclusion of Dendro weapons absolutely implies the inclusion and/or general existence of a character who wields a Dendro Vision, which seems to be the game's "nature" element, and the only Vision currently lacking representation in the playable roster. As of now, future playable characters speculated to be associated with Dendro include Baizhu, known for his adorable white snake companion, and Rosaria, a nun like Barbara. If these weapon leaks are legitimate, then either of these characters, if not an entirely different one (who uses Dendro), will most probably make their way into Genshin Impact before or on the day of the Inazuma update.

Genshin Impact is available now on the App Store, Google Play, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for PS5 and Switch.
