In Genshin Impact's region of Inazuma, players will find no shortage of quests to complete and locations to uncover. In addition to the main quests available in the region, Genshin Impact players may not realize that the region also comes with its own set of unique daily commissions that can be completed.
To unlock daily commissions in Inazuma, players must first travel to the new Inazuma region and complete the introductory story quest that automatically triggers when players arrive on the island. During this introductory phase, players will be relegated to the Ritou area of Narukami Island and will be unable to explore until they are given a travel pass through the "Three Wishes" story quest. Once players receive their travel pass, they can now freely travel throughout Inazuma and explore the islands.
To unlock the Inazuma daily commissions, players must first travel to Inazuma City, which is located in the southeast corner of Narukami Island. Once players arrive at the city they must travel to the Adventurers' Guild which can be found across from the Alchemy station.
At the Adventurers' Guild, players should be able to see a quest marker above Katheryne the receptionist. Simply speak with Katheryn in order to unlock the option to accept Inazuma Daily Commissions.
Once players have unlocked the daily commissions from Katheryne, they must set their daily commission preference to Inazuma in order to receive commissions for the region the following day. To set the daily commission's region preference, players must first open up their Adventurer Handbook from the in-game menu.
In the Adventurer Handbook, players must select the "Commissions" tab located underneath "Experience." At the top of the Commission page, players will see an option to "choose a preferred region in which to do commission quests." Players should note that once the region has been set to Inazuma, the change will only take effect the following day, leaving the current available daily commissions unchanged. If players happen to be hunting any of the rare daily commission achievements in either Mondstadt or Liyue, they must manually set the preferred region back or set it to random.
For players struggling to farm the various region-specific materials throughout Inazuma, setting the daily commissions to the region is an excellent way to gradually build up the materials required for ascending the Inazuma banner characters. Additionally, for players who have become burnt out on the daily commissions in both Mondstadt and Liyue, there is plenty of variety in the daily commissions in the Inazuma region.
