Genshin Impact just launched the “Moonlight Merriment” event, an in-game celebration of Liyue’s traditional Moonchase Festival. Lights, lanterns, and decorations beckoning in the fall harvest bring a cheerful atmosphere to the bustling harbor, but the Traveler’s work is never done – fortunately for Genshin Impact players.
The Adventurer’s Guild needs a monster camp clean-up, and they’ll pay handsomely: Mora, Primogems, and event-exclusive awards await those who complete the limited-time Trail of Delicacies challenges. Read on for a comprehensive guide to Trail of Delicacies: Path of Stalwart Stone.
Path of Stalwart Stone: Trail Comforts
Offer gourmet dishes to obtain “Trail Comforts”, or party buffs (these will only be active during challenge participation). Each Path will require a unique set of dishes and bestow a variety of benefits. Path of Stalwart Stone has the following Trail Comforts:
- Offered 2 Delicacies: During the challenge, all the party members will gain 30% ATK for 10s upon using an Elemental Burst. Max 4 stacks, each stack has an independent duration.
- Offered 4 Delicacies: During the challenge, all the party members’ Shield Strength is increased by 60%.
- Offered 5 Delicacies: Obtain Hero’s Wit x 2 and Mora x 20,000
Trail of Delicacies: How to Get Started
Prerequisites:
Complete “Moonlight Merriment: Part I” and “The Many Matters of the Moonchase Festival’
- Speak to Linyang to complete the Quest “The Many Matters of the Moonchase Festival”: she’ll discuss the Adventurer’s Guild Moonchase Festival events, including treasure-hunting and monster-camp eliminating. This will unlock “Moonlight Seeker” and “Trail of Delicacies”.
- Access the Events Overview page and select Trail of Delicacies. A lovely pop-up map of Liyue will unfold with “Path of Stalwart Stone” and the 6 associated challenges unlocked.
- Before embarking on the first challenge, select the “Offer Delicacy” option to establish your party buffs. A singular dish will affect the party throughout all six challenges, and won’t need to be refreshed. The dishes are: Delicious Grilled Tiger Fish, Delicious Mora Meat, Delicious Almond Tofu, Delicious Crystal Shrimp, and Delicious Golden Shrimp Balls.
- Creating the dishes isn’t required, and higher AR players may not need any of the advantages baked within to breeze through the chain of combat. However, completionists be advised: offering all five meals rewards chefs with a couple of Hero’s Wit and 20,000 Mora.
- The “Trail Comforts” counter at the bottom of the screen keeps track of the offerings, and they are viewable at any time via the “Offer Delicacy” option.
- Delicacies can still be offered after completing all of the challenges in order to obtain the Mora’s Wit and Mora reward.

Special Rules:
When the camp Leader’s HP falls under 30%, it will restore a large amount of HP after 10 seconds. This can only happen once per challenge.

- Seek out a nearby stove and prepare the dishes. In order for a dish to be considered “delicious”, a “Perfect” score must be achieved during the cooking process. Auto-cooked mastered dishes are automatically perfect.
- Return to the Events Overview page and offer the desired delicacy. Refer to the "Trail Comforts" section for a description of each buff.
- Activate navigation for the Trail icon. Teleport to the Yaoguang Shoal Statue of the Seven and glide towards the navigation point.
- Defeat 8 Opponents: the Leaders emit a pulsing green aura on the ground. Descend from the sky for a plunging attack or land on one of the Hilichurl towers to plan an initial strike.
- Crowd control characters like Venti, Kazuha, and Sucrose are great picks for breezing through the entire Trail of Delicacies in one shot. Here are a few team suggestions for quick clean-up: Kaeya, Xingqiu, Kazuha, Venti – Anemo Freeze (Anemo Resonance); Xiao, Albedo, Zhongli, Jean – Anemo Main (Anemo Resonance, Geo Resonance); Tartaglia, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Bennet – AoE Vaporize (Pyro Resonance, Hydro Resonance); Raiden Shogun, Xingqiu, Kujou Sara, Zhongli – Electro-Charged Melee (Electro Resonance)
- Items drops are available during this event: pick up Divining Scrolls, Damaged Masks, Firm Arrowheads, and Heavy Horns, along with minute amounts of Mora and Character EXP typical for these opponents.
- Open the spawned chest for Challenge Rewards.
- Once the chest is opened, the camera will swing to a fresh wind current leading straight to the next challenge area.

- Defeat 12 Opponents: the Pyro Slime and Geo Slime Leaders emit a green aura.
- Though Slimes are immune to their own element and often frustrate Anemo users for this reason, the assortment of conflicting Elements present in this line-up makes the Swirl team still devastating. Here are some new team options for Anti-Swirlers: Diluc, Mona, Sucrose, Noelle – Claymore Vaporize; Eula, Xingqiu, Fischl, Diona – Critical PHYS (Cryo Resonance)
- For those who wish to change their party, land on a rock before engaging the opponents and disabling the party setup option.
- Pick up the slippery pieces of Slime Condensate and proceed to the strange treasure chest to receive the challenge rewards, Mora, and Character EXP.
- Sail along the next air current for a one-way ticket to Challenge #3.

- There’s nothing quite as satisfying in Genshin Impact as the Treasure Hoarder rock tumbler, and for this reason, Venti is the team favorite. The high energy, double-Anemo team comps with reactionary Elemental infusions are perfect for wiping out a Treasure Hoarder camp. Refer back to the Challenge #1 recommendations or try these: Xiangling, Kaeya, Xingqiu, Venti – Elemental Reaction Tumbler. Ayaka, Mona, Xingqiu, Sucrose – Freeze/Vaporize (the number of opponents and campfire means Pyro is likely unavoidable and difficult for a constant Freeze – Rosaria is a good CRIT Rate booster to Sub for Mona or Xingqiu to assist a Blizzard Strayer reliant DPS). This is also an excellent team to take to the following Challenge.
- Pick up the abundance of Treasure Hoarder Insignias (and don’t miss any – these common ascension materials are worth their weight in Mora), Agent’s Sacrificial Knife, and Hunter’s Sacrificial Knife.
- Cracking open the treasure chest unsurprisingly summons another wind current, and away we go.

The best options are the Anemo Freeze team from Challenge #1 (Kaeya, Xingqiu, Kazuha, Venti) or Freeze from Challenge #3 (Ayaka, Mona, Xingqiu, Sucrose). The heavier opponents means Sucrose is an equal Venti replacement, and a variety of fun and accessible Freeze compilations exist: Kaeya, Chongyun, Xingqiu, Sucrose – F2P Anemo Freeze (Cryo Resonance); Tartaglia, Ganyu, Kokomi, Diona – Freeze Alternative (Hydro Resonance, Cryo Resonance)
- Not a fan of Freeze? Try Crystallize: Ningguang, Xingqiu, Bennet, Zhongli – Geo DPS (Geo Resonance – Sub Xingqiu for Xiangling for Pyro Resonance instead of Vaporize); Albedo, Xiangling, Mona, Sucrose – Elemental Mastery Boosted Vaporize (Geo Resonance)

- The Rock Shieldwall Mitachurls will immediately charge, so don’t drop onto the battlefield with a fragile character. Kazuha is especially an asset here because his jump Skill is both a dodge and attack that will wipe out the minor Hilichurls upon landing, while his Burst is the perfect circumference to Swirl an Element onto everyone in this fight. The Rock Shieldwall Mitachurls are weak to claymore, plunging, and Geo attacks, so the Geo DPS (Ningguang, Xiangling/Xingqiu, Bennet, Zhongli) option is effective as well as a shielded claymore combination such as Diluc, Kaeya, Bennet, Diona (Cryo Resonance, Pyro Resonance).
- Pick up the Damaged Mask, Stained Mask, Sealed Scroll, Firm Arrowhead, and Black Crystal Horn drops (Tartaglia-wanters should grab the nearby conch shells).
- Open the chest, obtain the goodies, and onto the next current.

- The last challenge features everyone’s favorite misguided ancient robots, Ruin Guards. A ring of lit pyres and proximity to the ocean indicates Pyro and Hydro environmental applications are inevitable.
- Defeat 10 Opponents: the Ruin Guard Leaders emit a green aura.
- The Ruin Guards are slow to stir and are immune to damage until activation, so proceed with the Hilichurls until the Leaders begin to stand.
- Shooting Venti’s Burst straight into the middle of the ring will apply Pyro for an unfortunate wake-up call – Kazuha and Sucrose’s Bursts work just as well, though Venti's is the best attendant vacuum.
- The Pyro presence will convert the Anemo Freeze team into a Vaporize Melt showcase, and that works just as well if Xingqiu is an adequate enough healer to compensate for the safety net of Freeze. The AoE Vaporize squad (Tartaglia, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Bennet) is an auspicious contender with a few tweaks: replace Xingqiu or Bennet with an Anemo character for that sweet surprise Pyro Swirl. Bow users have the additional benefit of disabling the Ruin Guards with a charged shot to the cycloptic eye, so Tartaglia, Melt replacement Ganyu, or Venti all boast a paralytic edge.
- Once the first two Ruin Guard Leaders are defeated, another two Ruin Guard Leaders will populate – beware of their honing strikes. This is where the Anemo Freeze combination becomes extra handy: the pyres are now likely extinguished on one side, and the team can Freeze the remaining bosses before they get any big ideas. A Hydro Samachurl at the ready applies Wet while healing, but Kazuha or Venti will disrupt them when their Bursts launch, sucking in the nearby Pyro for extra Vaporize damage multipliers.
- Pick up Stained Mask, Divining Scroll, Chaos Device, Chaos Circuit, and Chaos Core item drops, along with the typical Mora and Character EXP.
- Opening the chest unlocks the boosted rewards (including refinement material for the Luxurious Sea-Lord) and the next region.
