Genshin Impact's Special Program for update 3.2 has revealed the three limited five-star characters that will receive a banner re-run in the upcoming weeks. Each update is divided into two separate banner cycles which feature different sets of limited items.

With Genshin Impact's playable roster constantly expanding, double banners have become very common. They allow players to choose between two limited five-star characters within the same banner cycle.

The first banner will feature Yoimiya alongside the new Dendro Archon, Lesser Lord Kusanali, better known as Nahida. As a strong Genshin Impact DPS character, Yoimiya has a focus on dealing damage to single targets. The majority of the community seems surprised by HoYoverse's decision to give her a re-run, considering that she was recently featured in the second phase of update 2.8. The fact that the banner features an Archon means that it would do well in terms of revenue even without another character. The second double banner will include two popular characters, Yae Miko and Tartaglia, also known as Childe.

Yae is one of the most popular characters in all of Genshin Impact, and she plays a huge role in the Inazuma storyline. This unique character oversees the Grand Narukami Shrine and owns the Yae Publishing House. When it comes to her power on the field, Yae Miko is one of the best supports in the game with the ability to apply constant Electro damage with her totems. HoYoverse tried to rework a part of the kit a couple of updates ago, but after a major backlash, the changes were reverted to the original state.

Childe is another Genshin Impact DPS who has the ability to swap between ranged and melee combat thanks to his Elemental skill which equips him with Hydro daggers. Despite being one of the oldest characters in the game, Childe can still be an S-tier damage dealer if surrounded by the right team composition. Childe is one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, which led many players to believe that he will appear in the upcoming story since the live stream confirmed a new boss domain that will feature the 6th Harbinger, Scaramouche.

The Sumeru arc could reach its climax in the next update in which the Traveler is fighting to free the Dendro Archon. Nahida will apparently be the first five-star Dendro support, which means that her banner could break some revenue records. The second banner cycle will also feature a new five-star character named Layla, who is confirmed to be a new Cryo support.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
