Genshin Impact has released a team builder through the HoYoLab app, allowing players to create and share their team compositions with others. Team building is one of the most important parts of Genshin Impact, thanks to the game's focus on elemental reactions and elemental resonance. The popularity of Spiral Abyss as the game's biggest forms of endgame content has encouraged players to build the strongest compositions possible, with many parties becoming widely recognized like the "National" team. Now, HoYoVerse's new team-builder app will allow fans to share their powerful teams online.

Genshin Impact officially unveiled its "Lineup Simulator" on Thursday morning with players able to build and submit their own team compositions through the HoYoLab app. Using the app, players can add their characters to their line-up and fill out several details about their party's build. Users can designate different characters' roles within a team like DPS and Sub DPS, as well as specific weapons and artifacts on characters. Players can even set the stats for their artifacts with each piece's main stats and prioritized sub-stats listed.

The popularity of Genshin Impact's team-building has seen some team compositions become universally recognized by the RPG's community. Among the most well-known party set-ups in the game has been Genshin Impact's "National" team, with the team seeing many different forms since its inception with free-to-play friendly characters like Bennett and Xingqiu. Other popular variants have inserted powerful new characters like Raiden Shogun and Kazuha into the storied team composition. Other lesser-known compositions include the "Taser" team, built around the Electro-Charged reaction.

Genshin Impact has often experimented with events surrounding team-building elements throughout the game's two-year-long history. Genshin Impact's frequently recurring Hyakunin Ikki event tasks players with building two-character team compositions built around different buffs and effects. Combat-focused events in Genshin Impact have become a staple of the game's updates, with each new version typically bringing at least one way for players to earn Primogems through team-building. HoYoVerse has already revealed multiple combat events coming with the upcoming Version 3.2, including the return of Hypostatic Symphony.

Genshin Impact's new team-builder app will look to be a major tool for many of the game's most competitive players to share their powerful teams with one another. Team composition has become a popular topic for many players, trying to figure out the best or most interesting compositions to run with specific characters. Leaks also often come with speculation about potential party set-ups, even for characters like the upcoming Scaramouche who haven't seen their kits revealed. The HoYoLab Lineup Simulator should be useful for both old and new players looking to strengthen their teams.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
