Genshin Impact features an ever-expanding roster of colorful characters with equally colorful personalities, but not all of these characters are created equal. Setting aside matters of game balance and meta, there are some distinct advantages to playing as one of Genshin Impact's taller characters. One fan recently lined up their tallest characters and appears to have discovered the tallest character in the game so far.

Height is one of Genshin Impact's concealed stats, but it can be estimated by judging the height of a character's in-game model. Using one of Genshin Impact's tall playable characters gives gamers a significant advantage while exploring the wilds of Teyvat. Taller characters can climb faster, swim greater distances, and have an easier time collecting the Oculi scattered throughout the game's regions.

Redditor Gerrymon96 lined up some of the game's tallest characters: Kaeya Alberich, Diluc Ragnvindr, Tartaglia/Childe, Zhongli, Thoma, and finally the new addition Arataki Itto. The line-up shows the differences in height with color-coded lines positioned under the character models' chins. However, the height difference between Itto and the other boys is so big that it's clearly visible to the naked eye. Arataki Itto was designed to be one of the biggest and most muscular characters in Genshin Impact, so it may not be a surprise to learn that he's the tallest character in the game as of writing.

Interestingly, Gerrymon96 stated that Itto's height comes less from his overall build--though he is more visibly muscular than the other boys he's compared to in the image. Like his rival Kujou Sara, Itto wears geta sandals, a type of traditional East Asian footwear that resembles wooden flip-flops. His geta are black with two large teeth located under the wooden base that keep his feet noticeably elevated when walking. Itto might still be the tallest character in Genshin Impact without the geta, but wearing them appears to make him the biggest character by far.

As of writing, it appears that other Genshin Impact fans find this revelation hilarious. One user noted that Arataki Itto has stated that anyone shorter than him is a kid as far as he's concerned, which would imply that Itto considers himself the only adult in Teyvat. A second user jokingly celebrated that Itto had finally won something, while a third stated that Itto was about to steal candy from Kaeya, Diluc, Tartaglia, Zhongli, and Thoma as his reward for victory.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
