One of the pros that made the game so popular is the fact that the majority of the Genshin Impact challenges are fairly easy to beat. Usually, players who properly level up their characters hardly face any struggle.

However, the Spiral Abyss, which is the main Genshin Impact end-game feature, is increasingly getting harder with each update, and building the right Genshin Impact party has become a must. While the Abyss requires different team compositions in order to overcome most floors, some characters are more flexible than others.

A recent post on the official Genshin Impact subreddit has revealed the pick rate for the current Version 2.4 Spiral Abyss. The chart has been taken from the popular Genshin Impact stat website named GenshinLab. It should be noted that the chart represents the pick rate within the playable roster for each account. For example, 95.1% of players that have Kazuha have used him in the current Spiral Abyss. The most used characters overall are likely Raiden Shogun, Zhongli and Venti considering that they are the most pulled Genshin Impact characters in the game so far, and still have a high overall pick rate.

Kazuha was not well received in the Genshin Impact community at first, but once players finished grinding for his build, he turned out to be one of, if not the strongest support character in Genshin Impact. He was usually perceived as a much weaker version of Venti because they have a similar Elemental Burst, but Venti's seemed much better at the time. However, most players didn't pay much attention to his potential to increase damage for his party members which is much more useful against stronger opponents.

Raiden Shogun has become probably the most popular character in the game, and she still holds the record for being the most pulled character on a single limited banner run. Her biggest draw is that she's a very free-to-play friendly five-star character meaning that she has great potential without any constellations. There aren't many players who skipped Shogun's banner since there was a lot of hype even months before her official release. But, those who've made that mistake could have the option to acquire her very soon as multiple leaks hint that update 2.5 might bring a Raiden Shogun banner re-run.

Genshin Impact is available right now for mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version also in development.
