The slimes are among the cutest enemies players face in Genshin Impact. To celebrate these gooey monster blobs, the Slime Paradise is now active for all players above Adventure Rank 10.

In order to start participating in this event, players don't actually need to open up Genshin Impact. Instead, the event mainly takes place in a browser-based game connected to the player's logged in account.

The goal of the Slime Paradise event is to create a fun park for slimes and others wandering monsters. By purchasing a variety of decorations for the park and bringing more and more monsters to it, players can earn Paradise Tickets they can exchange for helpful main game items. These items include Primogems, Hero's Wit, Mora, and Fine Enhancement Ore.

GI Slime Event

In order to get decorations to help earn Paradise Tickets, players need to use Paradise Coins. These are earned by completing the daily tasks listed in the browser game. The tasks are:

  • Log into Genshin Impact today - 300 Paradise Coins
  • Enter Slime Paradise once today - 200 Paradise Coins
  • Go to the official YouTube channel - 100 Paradise Coins

The daily tasks refresh every day at 00:00 in Genshin Impact's server time. This is good to keep in mind for those wanting to make sure that they can keep up with these tasks every day the event is active.

Players also have access to normal tasks that reward the player with more Paradise Tickets. These tasks however can only be completed once instead of daily. The tasks are:

  • Have four slimes move into the park - 400 Paradise Tickets
  • Purchase seven park decorations - 200 Paradise Tickets
  • Collect four photos - 400 Paradise Tickets

In order to get certain slimes and monsters to visit, players will need a specific decoration item for each of them. For example, a Geo Slime will only come by if players have an abandoned stone house decoration. Each decoration also gives daily Paradise Tickets of different amounts, encouraging players to find them all. Players will also get Paradise Tickets every time a new monster comes to visit the park.

Another fun part of the event are the unlockable photos. These pictures are new art of Genshin Impact's characters in a variety of comedic situations in the park. Once players unlock a photo, they can view it from the browser game's gallery. Like with unlocking new slimes and monsters, unlocking these photos requires the presence of different decorations in the park.

The Slime Paradise Event will be running from January 22 to January 31. Each day of the event more decorations will become available for players to purchase from the decoration store.

Genshin Impact is available now on the App Store, Google Play, PC, and PS4, and currently in development for the PS5 and Switch.
