Genshin Impact's world of Teyvat keeps expanding with almost every new update that arrives. The Genshin Impact update 2.6 has added a new enormous region named Chasm which is home to various new enemies.

With an ever-expanding world, players often come across various glitches that result interesting interactions. A new video posted on the official Genshin Impact subreddit shows a hilarious glitch which almost made a player fly out of the new Chasm region.

Redditor Timson 1996 has revealed a glitch that caused his Xingqiu to be launched in the air during one of the animations that happen in the famous Ruin Serpent fight. However, despite the interaction being very unexpected, the player was quick to react, and he used this opportunity to perform an epic Plunging Attack. The character flies so high that it triggers a dialog with Paimon which usually happens when players try to enter a restricted part of the map.

This interaction proves that, even though the above-ground part of the Chasm is unlocked and available to be explored, players are still required to teleport out rather than climb their way up. The Ruin Serpent has been added to game in the current Genshin Impact Version 2.6 which also brought a brand-new character named Kamisato Ayato. Players who missed his banner will unfortunately have to wait for another chance since he was part of the first banner cycle alongside the Anemo Archon Venti.

The new monster can be found in the Serpent's Cave in the Underground part of this new region. This whole domain drops one of two very strong artifact sets including the four-star and five-star versions of the popular Gladiator's Finale, which is one of the strongest artifacts in Genshin Impact, especially for DPS characters. Collecting this domain's rewards requires 40 Resin and its rewards also include variants of the Prithiva Topaz used for ascending Geo characters which is symbolic as the region is the main source of ores for the whole Liyue region.

Ruin Serpent is a fairly easy Genshin Impact boss domain since, compared to some other bosses, it does not include any complicated mechanics. The main thing that players should focus on is neutralizing the Oozing Concentration which allows the boss to draw power from the Dark Mud before launching a special attack that deals tons of damage. One of Ruin Serpent's passive abilities is that it ignores up to 70% of Physical damage meaning that players should try to avoid using Razor, Eula or other characters that deal this type of damage.

Genshin Impact is available on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices, with a Nintendo Switch version in development.
