A Genshin Impact player manages to deal over one million damage with Diluc while attempting to complete a bounty in Liyue. In Genshin Impact, players may upgrade a character's Talents in order to raise their stats and unlock useful abilities.

After making substantial progress in the main story of Genshin Impact, players may accept weekly bounties for extra rewards and reputation gains. Each region in Teyvat has its own reputation level, so HoYoverse encourages players to frequent each region and complete bounties to unlock more benefits. Additionally, certain bounties may give substantial damage buffs to aid the player in its successful completion with a given time limit. These bounty buffs will stack with any existing damage buffs that a character normally utilizes, leading to high damage potential for a limited time.

Genshin Impact player Koda140 deals 1.4 million damage with Diluc due to a bounty's plunging damage buff and the character's powerful Constellation abilities. Diluc's second Constellation ability, Sealing Ember, increases attack damage by up to 30% for a short duration. Sealing Ember allows Diluc to inflict heavy physical damage on normal enemies and bosses with his claymore. After combining the Sealing Ember buff with the Liyue bounty's damage buff, Koda140 was able to inflict over one million damage in a single plunge attack against a Rock Shieldwall Mitachurl.

The use of the plunging damage buff appears to be limited to the bounty's active zone, however. As a result, Koda140 may only use this particular damage buff against the target and any other enemies that happen to be nearby. Moreover, only three bounties may be completed within a week in Genshin Impact, so the chances of gaining the plunging damage buff are rather low.

Koda140 highlights an incredible damage boost that some longtime Genshin Impact players may not know about due to its limited nature in the current bounty system. Dealing over one million damage with a single attack is unfeasible in most of Genshin Impact's content, and players must summon Diluc multiple times to acquire the Sealing Ember ability. Nonetheless, Diluc is a valuable Pyro DPS character that deals impressive damage in Spiral Abyss and typical Genshin Impact activities.

Genshin Impact players may summon Diluc from the Wanderlust Invokation event wish, which serves as the game's standard banner. Dendro character Kirara will soon make her playable debut in Genshin Impact version 3.7, and players may want to consider adding her to a team. Kirara and Diluc may be formidable in a team due to their ability to unleash powerful Dendro and Pyro elemental reactions.

Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. A Nintendo Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
