Genshin Impact's combat system relies on triggering various elemental reactions by combining different elements. Some of the game's elite enemies have strong resistance against certain abilities, though, giving gamers a challenge to overcome.

Spiral Abyss is widely considered the hardest part of Genshin Impact, especially the last two floors since they usually include a combination of tricky enemies and stacked HP bars. However, a new video on the game's subreddit reveals an interesting and effective interaction between two popular characters.

The Spiral Abyss often features enemies that are much stronger than the ones that can be found by exploring Teyvat. One of their strengths is that they cannot be affected by crowd control abilities such as Sucrose's elemental skill or Venti's burst. Two such monsters are shown in the video, and they are known as the Primordial Bathysmal Vishaps. Intriguingly, the video reveals that even though the enemies don't seem to be affected by Venti's Elemental Burst, Redditor _the_dark_knight came up with the idea to use Diluc's Dawn and knock the two monsters into the Stormeye.

Diluc's fire phoenix infuses Venti's burst with Pyro, which results in additional elemental damage. Fans loved this combo since it is a very simple solution to a tricky problem, and it includes two of the game's oldest characters. A number of fans were confused by the Vishap's appearance in the current Spiral Abyss, though it was later clarified that the video was probably taken during Genshin Impact Version 2.5, which included the monsters.

Venti's Elemental Burst is probably one of the best skills in the game, despite being released back in 2020. He can be the go-to support for most Genshin Impact teams, especially when fighting against groups of enemies. Players had the option to pull for Venti in the first part of the ongoing update where he was placed on a double banner alongside new character Kamisato Ayato. Even though Ayato was a much popular character at the time, a lot of players still chose to spend their Primogems on the fan-favorite Anemo Archon.

Unlike Venti, Diluc didn't really stand the test of time, as his popularity slowly decreased over the years. Still, he is considered a decent DPS choice for certain team compositions that lack Pyro damage. Back in 2020, Diluc was an S-tier DPS character, especially if players managed to pair him with the popular claymore, Wolf's Gravestone. The video proves that Diluc can still be a decent character if he's surrounded with the right Genshin Impact team composition.

Genshin Impact is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is currently in development.
