Given the game's newness, it's no surprise that Genshin Impact players are being treated to a fair amount of freebies as of late. Aside from generally frequent updates, and small in-game gifts here and there, Travelers have grown used to miHoYo casually releasing promo codes, as they did in their recent Version 1.2 Special Program.
Players were invited to a special Genshin Impact Livestream on December 11, 2020, which was the developer's first official breakdown of the upcoming Dragonspine area and greater Version 1.2 update. As part of the stream, miHoYo decided to treat viewers with three special very-limited-quantity codes, however, after much grumbling, it seems the developer decided to make the three codes accessible to all.
As per usual, players hoping to claim the free Primogems will do so on miHoYo's official Genshin Impact website. Players will have to enter the three case-sensitive codes individually, but once they do, they'll receive an instant bundle of rewards in their in-game inboxes. Seeing as recent rewards have all been either mora or small-scale bundles, players will surely appreciate that each of these codes grants 100 Primogems and more.
The three codes give players 100 Primogems, and a small accompanying set of materials, each. So after redeeming all three, players should be left with 300 Primogems and some enhancement materials, which at the very least allows for an attempt at the newest character Zhongli.
The three codes are as follows: 5KVeIbSxDUU - G3tQq6TOqmE - eATDgIXLD56, and they can be redeemed by following these steps:
- Go to miHoYo's official Genshin Impact website
- Login to the desired account
- Click "Redeem Code" at the top right of the homepage
- Select the appropriate Country and Character Name
- Enter a code (5KVeIbSxDUU, G3tQq6TOqmE, or eATDgIXLD56) and click "Redeem"
The website should display a success message when a code is successfully entered, so players should look out for that before moving on. Otherwise, it's as simple as logging into the game and checking Paimon's Inbox.
These codes come together with copious news of Dragonspine's many offerings, as well as a new gift of 800 Primogems in honor of The Game Awards 2020, and brief player survey that offers 30,000 mora when completed. So in other words, players have several upcoming events to keep track of if they want to maximize their freebie gains this season and stock up on those Primogems. Given that Albedo and Ganyu are now officially confirmed, and characters like Yaoyao, Ayaka, Xiao, and Rosalia are effectively waiting on the bench, players will have much Wishing to do come the new Genshin Impact updates.
