Developer miHoYo continues to improve upon the foundation it set for Genshin Impact with regular updates, events, and more. The latest Genshin Impact event gives players more reasons to return to the MMORPG, but one fan has discovered a climbing glitch associated with the event.

Genshin Impact's Labyrinth Warriors event has officially begun, and with it comes new challenges that unlock special rewards. With this Genshin Impact event, there are several doors to enter scattered around the world of Teyvat. These gateways are causing some issues, however, with some Genshin Impact fans sharing the bugs they're encountering with the event doors.

Reddit user Spoonybard0205 recently shared a video in which they showed how the Genshin Impact Labyrinth Warriors event doors are causing a climbing glitch. In this clip, the player jumped behind the door before turning to face the adjacent cliffside. Upon climbing back up to the ground level where the event door was, Spoonybard0205 discovered that the climbing animation continued regardless of what surface they were on.

Spoonybard0205's video showed their Genshin Impact character crawling around on the ground as a result of this event door glitch, resulting in some likely unintended hilarity. The Genshin Impact fan was able to replicate the glitch in the same clip, illustrating how easy it is for players to remain in climb mode near the event doors. Typically, Genshin Impact players are entering these doors during the Labyrinth Warriors event, but miHoYo may not have accounted for players to go behind them.

In order to explore the new Labyrinth Warriors content, players need to complete some prerequisite Genshin Impact quests such as the Inazuma archon quests, including "Wishes." Wishes is the last quest in Chapter 2, Act 3: Omnipresence Over Mortals, and it requires an Adventure Rank of 30 or above. Labyrinth Warriors is a solo Domain Event in Genshin Impact, and it's full of rooms with traps and mobs to defeat for rewards. The trick with these rooms is that players can’t use food in order to heal themselves.

Because of the timed nature of Genshin Impact events, most players are likely spending their time experiencing the offerings of Labyrinth Warriors, but Spoonybard0205 found a unique way to celebrate the changes to Teyvat. Funnily enough, one Reddit user claimed that the new Genshin Impact glitch made it look like their character was crawling around looking for their glasses as if they were Velma in Scooby-Doo. While some players may expect a fix to this climbing glitch in the near future, others have voiced their hopes that miHoYo leaves it in the game.

Genshin Impact is available right now for mobile, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and PS5.
