Mora is used for nearly everything in Genshin Impact, and as such, its a valuable resource to have. Early on in the game, players will have an excess of Mora at their disposal, and will find themselves always getting more than they're spending. Unfortunately, as players inch closer to the end game of Genshin Impact, things start getting a lot more expensive and Mora becomes a real issue.

As with most things in Genshin Impact, Mora is somewhat limited by Original Resin. The best ways to get Mora often require the use of at least 20 Original Resin, meaning players may have to simply wait to get it. Thankfully, there are other methods of obtaining Mora that don't require Resin, they just aren't quite as efficient.

Since Mora is spent to level up and ascend characters and weapons, odds are there will always be a use for it. These methods are some of the fastest, repeatable ways to get Mora, though it should be said that certain one time things like filling out the Adventure Log challenges or finding specific chests can provide nice boosts in the moment.

How to unlock the Spiral Abyss

In truth, there's no amazing Mora farming route that players can take, but there are some techniques that can help. The repeatable Ley Line Outcrop - Blossom of Wealth world event is by far the best way to get Mora, as it provides tens of thousands with each completion. As the player's world rank increases, the rewards do as well. The catch here is that this requires Original Resin, and players may prefer to spend that on other dungeons or events.

Completing the four daily commissions each day is not only a great way to level up fast in Genshin Impact, but also offers decent Mora rewards as well. Completing the Spiral Abyss offers tons of Mora rewards, so players that are Adventure Rank 20 or higher can try that as well. For those looking for non-resin ways to farm good amounts of Mora, their best bet is artifact, sigils, and chest farming. Excess artifacts can be destroyed to gain Mora, sigils can be traded in at the souvenir shop for 1600 Mora each, and chests provide around 1000 Mora and a few sigils as well.

There are a few locations, particularly in Liyue, where players can farm non-resin artifacts for this purpose, and chests can be found all throughout Genshin Impact. None of these are get rich quick methods by any means, but focusing on these activities will help players build up the Mora they need to upgrade their characters and equipment.

Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, and PS4, and later on Switch.
