After Rana falls ill to the effect of Marana, Genshin Impact players will need to help Aranara conduct a festival. Arana directs the protagonist to the Aranara Village, a place called Vanarana. Once the Genshin Impact traveler manages to gain the creature’s trust, a bunch of World Quests will appear on the map. Most of them lead to an Aranara, but one of them directs players to a Mysterious Mail Box.

The Mail Box contains a picture of a familiar place, and Genshin Impact players will gain a new quest in their quest list, telling them to proceed to the location shown in the painting. While the location is not tricky to find, it can be frustrating when the chest refuses to show up.

How To Proceed To The Location Shown In The Painting In Genshin Impact

To proceed to the location shown in the painting in Genshin Impact, players need to use the Dig button at the correct location. To do that, teleport to the Statue of the Seven in Vanarana. Right next to the Statue, a Dig command will appear, indicating the treasure is there.

Now, if players press Dig and no Chest appears, it could be due to the traveler and Paimon being stuck inside the Dream Vanarana. Paimon will say that maybe it’s because they are in the Dream Vanarana. So, if they return to reality, then there should be a treasure.

To return to the real world, players have to go to the Silapna. It’s a stone with a mark on it and a green aura surrounding it. When players find the Silapna, stand in front of it and play the Vintage Lyre in Genshin Impact.

Playing the instrument showcases a few notes that players can duplicate on their Lyre. Wait for the music to finish, and the Traveler and Paimon will be transported back into reality. Now that players made it back, teleport to the Statue of the Seven again and Dig for that treasure.

After digging for the treasure, players need to go back to the Mysterious Mail Box. There, the traveler and Paimon will find more places to visit in the painting and new treasures to hunt. When players open their Aranyaka, they’ll find all the new Genshin Impact areas shown in the painting and where the treasures are hidden in each one.

Each completed location will be marked in the Aranyaka, indicating that the Static Views quest is a part of the Genshin Impact Aranara questline. However, finishing this part of the Aranyaka is not mandatory as the festival only requires players to help Aranara, while the Static Views quest doesn’t directly involve the forest creatures. Nevertheless, each location in the painting does lead to a Genshin Impact Chest, so they’re worth finding, especially to level up the Tree of Dreams.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
