As Genshin Impact players explore the Golden Apple Archipelago they will find a variety of puzzles scattered across the islands. While Genshin Impact players are likely to solve most of the puzzles with ease, there are several - like the Elemental Monument puzzle - that may prove to be challenging.
To find the Elemental Monument puzzle, players must travel to Minacious Isle waypoint, located in the South of Golden Apple Archipelago. Slightly east of the waypoint, players will find a large opening in the ground that leads to a puzzle featuring several elemental totems and hoops.
To start the puzzle, players must first lead the Seelie that can be found at the top of the island, down towards the puzzle. Eventually, the Seelie will stop at a rock and players will have a prompt to investigate.
When players interact with the prompt, the Seelie will light up a stone pillar that displays four elements in the order- CRYO, ANEMO, PYRO, HYDRO.
Players must then light each of the elemental totems in the area, in the aforementioned order. Both the Cryo and Anemo totems are found next to the hoops and can be easily activated by interacting with them with a corresponding elemental character.
The Pyro totem can be found on the ceiling in the area and can be activated by equipping Amber and shooting a Pyro arrow at it.
The Hydro totem is also found on the ceiling on the opposite side of the Pyro totem. There are two methods with which players are able to light the Hydro totem.
The first option is by setting the Anemo hoops to "position 1" and then proceed to kick the Harpastum gadget through the Hydro hoop in the direction of the Anemo Hoop. This will cause the ball to become imbued with a Hydro element, and then shoot up towards the Hydro totem. This may take players several tries before they are able to successfully light the totem.
Alternatively, if players happen to have Childe in their roster, they can easily use him to shoot a Hydro arrow at the totem to light it.
When all the totems are lit, a large portal will open up in the area and a series of Anemo slimes will spawn. Dispatch the Anemo slimes before proceeding to enter into the portal. Because of the height of the portal, the optimal way to enter it is via teleporting back to the Minacious Isle waypoint and gliding down into it.
When players reach the other side of the portal they will end up back in Mondstadt. Follow the nearby Seelie who will lead the player to a breakable wall. After the wall is broken, players will receive a luxurious chest and 30 priomogems.
