Leaving Enkanomiya in Genshin Impact may seem like an awkward task as it exists on an entirely different map. Luckily, the developer already thought this through, and the feature that'll allow players to leave Enkanomiya is also one of the great Quality of Life improvements announced in Genshin Impact 2.4.

Apart from Map Shortcut, other QoL fixes include; a custom Shortcut Wheel (PC and PS only), easily-displayed Spiral Abyss enemies, and more Serenitea Pots features. It's a pleasure to see that Genshin Impact is going in the right direction, and hopefully, will continue to do so.

When it comes to new content in Version 2.4, undoubtedly, Enkanomiya is one of the most exciting parts. This new area exists under Watasumi Island, so it doesn't belong on the same map like the rest of the regions. For players who are unsure of how to exit this area, they'll be pleased to know that leaving Enkanomiya is as easy as pie.

To leave Enkanomiya, players can follow these steps (Players can also do this to go back to the underwater region):

  2. Choose any region available in Teyvat
  3. Use any Teleport Waypoint

As a part of their QoL improvements in Genshin Impact 2.4, players can now fast travel between regions by using the Map Shortcut button. To open it, simply press on the star-like symbol on the bottom-right of the screen.

Previously, this button only included "Teyvat," "Serenitea Pot," and a Special Area (when available). However, after Version 2.4, "Teyvat" is now split into existing regions. So players no longer have to scroll far to get to the region they want.

What Is Enkanomiya In Genshin Impact?

Enkanomiya in Genshin Impact

Long ago, the ancient people of Watatsumi Island lived in Enkanomiya. They bear a world without a sun, engulfed in darkness to the point that they create their own source of light. In this place, dangerous creatures roam free, claiming themselves as the god of the region. After all, the monsters of Enkanomiya do not kneel to any Archon.

Taking pity for the people was Orobashi, a giant Serpent who later decided to lift the people to the surface. The deity then taught them how to adjust there, cultivate, and forge, and the people of Watatsumi no longer had to live in fear. This is why the Serpent is worshiped as the protector of the Island, and why its death was a tremendous political problem between the Shogun's government and the Watatsumi's.

Now, the place is led by a clan who have borne Orobashi's will to protect the island. This clan, the Sangonomiya, last inherited the honor to Sangonomiya Kokomi, a leader, and an adept war general.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
