A recent Genshin Impact leak suggests that both Childe and Yae Miko will be receiving rerun banners during the game's Version 3.2. The last few updates have already seen several fan-favorite characters featured once again with characters like Kokomi, Ganyu, and Kazuha coming back. The recent launch of Version 3.1 saw the return of the Anemo Archon Venti alongside a new Mondstadt-focused event, with an Albedo rerun planned for later in the update. Now, a new leak suggests two more beloved characters will be returning to the spotlight in Version 3.2.

An update from well-known Genshin Impact leaker Uncle Lu has revealed that both Childe and Yae Miko will be receiving a rerun banner during the second half of Version 3.2. The rerun likely coincides with the rumored Scaramouche boss set to arrive during 3.2, with both having history with the Fatui Harbinger. A release during the second half of Version 3.2 would place the reruns starting sometime in mid-November, coming halfway through the five-week patch.

A re-run for Yae Miko would be the character's first return to the game's gacha banner since her release early this year. Yae Miko debuted in Genshin Impact during the first half of the game's Version 2.5 alongside the story leading to the introduction of the Raiden Shogun weekly boss. The character has been met with significant controversy from fans since her release with her gameplay often seen as clunky by players. HoYoVerse even tried to make alterations to the character's kit the patch after her release, only to be met with backlash and later reverse the changes.

Childe has been a fan-favorite Genshin Impact character since his release, though he has not seen the spotlight for quite some time. A re-run in mid-November would be the first time in over a year the Fatui Harbinger has been featured after being criticized for the frequency of his gacha appearances early. Childe was the first character in Genshin Impact's history to receive a second re-run, before characters like Hu Tao and Albedo had seen their first. Childe appeared three times on gacha banners within a year of his initial November 2020 release.

Childe and Yae Miko are set to join two new characters arriving to Genshin Impact with the release of Version 3.2. Preceding the launch of Version 3.1, Genshin Impact revealed the next characters set to join the game's roster in Version 3.2 with Nahida and Layla. While Layla has yet to appear in Genshin Impact, Nahida has featured heavily in the story of the Sumeru region through Versions 3.0 and 3.1. The return of Childe and Yae Miko looks to be a welcome return for fans looking to give their teams a boost.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
