A recent leak from Genshin Impact has revealed another member of the featured character lineup for Version 3.8, expected to release in early July. The popular RPG from HoYoverse has featured plenty of popular characters returning to the gacha banner throughout recent updates, between some of the game's strongest characters and fan favorites. The Version 3.7 update launching later this week will feature the highly anticipated return of Anemo character Kazuha, alongside others like Yae Miko and Alhaitham. Now, Version 3.8's limited lineup reportedly has another powerful character joining its ranks. While HoYoverse has yet to reveal any official details about Genshin Impact's Version 3.8, leaks have shared multiple characters set to be featured during its gacha banners. Eula is expected to finally end her streak as the longest character to not be featured within the game's gacha, expected to run alongside fellow Mondstadt character Klee. Eula's re-appearance will come after the game has added several Physical damage support characters since her last appearance, like Yun Jin and Mika. Now, a popular member of the Inazuma cast is set to appear during the update.RELATED: Genshin Impact 3.8 Leak Hints at Klee and Eula Re-runsA new update shared by prominent Genshin Impact leaker Keika via fellow leaker HutaoLover77 has given new information about the expected characters for the final Sumeru update. The leak reveals that there is a "100% chance" that popular Hydro support Sangonomiya Kokomi will appear on the gacha banner during the Version 3.8 update. Kokomi last featured during Genshin Impact's Version 3.0 update and is heavily rumored to be involved with Version 3.8's event story. The leak also shuts down rumors that fellow Inazuma Hydro character Kamisato Ayato would appear during the update.

Kokomi's return in Version 3.8 comes as she is expected to feature in the event story for a brand-new limited region coming to Genshin Impact. Version 3.8 is heavily rumored to debut a new limited-time island region as the focus of the last Sumeru update. The island will reportedly include several connections to the upcoming region of Fontaine, expected to launch in the following Version 4.0 update. Several leaks would also confirm that the island is an entirely new region and not the return of the previously featured Golden Apple Archipelago.

A re-run banner for Kokomi would look to give even more players access to one of Genshin Impact's most powerful Support characters. While Kokomi was panned on release and considered to be a weak addition to the roster, players have come to realize her power as a Support in various Hydro compositions. Kokomi has been an especially popular choice in Dendro teams, providing stellar Hydro application for setting up Bloom Cores. Kokomi's return in Version 3.8 will surely see plenty of fans looking to pick up the popular Hydro character.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
