A new Genshin Impact leak shows how impressively well-designed the animations of the new Scaramouche boss battle are. Weekly bosses are a unique type of domain that provide players with various rewards including their own specific Talent Level-Up materials.

While the addition of new playable characters is the main focus of each Genshin Impact update, it seems as though a new boss domain could steal the show in the upcoming update. After months of rumors and speculation, players will finally get to fight the 6th Fatui Harbinger.

A video shared on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit shows a player fighting in the new Scaramouche boss domain. This boss fight is expected to arrive in the upcoming Genshin Impact update 3.2 which is scheduled for November 2. It should be noted that this was taken from a private server which means that some animations might still be missing, and the fixed camera angle won't be used in the actual fight. This boss fight will feature the largest boss model in the game so far as previous leaks confirmed that it's even bigger than the Mondstadt dragon Dvalin.

A number of replies in the comment section claim that the boss domain will probably power creep all other weekly instances in the game. Unlike most bosses in the game, Scaramouche will have a large skillset that will take some time to get used to. Players are still wondering what caused this transformation that gave Scara such robot-like features. A part of the community claims that this could actually be his true form, but players will have to wait for update 3.2 for more information.

Scaramouche has been one of the most anticipated characters in the game since his first appearance back during the Unreconciled Stars event. His recent absence from the popular "A Winter Night's Lazzo" made many fans accurately predict that he will be a big part of the ongoing Sumeru storyline. While many players seem very excited about this new boss domain, the majority of the fan base is still waiting for Scaramouche to become a part of the playable roster.

To that end, he is expected to arrive as a playable character in update 3.3 which should arrive around mid-December. However, recent leaks have revealed that Scaramouche's playable version will be completely different from the one players already encountered. In order to go from being a weekly boss to joining the playable roster in just two updates, Scara will probably go to a strong shift in his character development.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
