Recent Genshin Impact leaks have revealed more information about one of the upcoming playable characters, the long-awaited 6th Harbinger, better known as Scaramouche or Wanderer. Leaks and rumors have become part of the game's community, and they usually reveal tons of information about characters whose release date is months away.
One of those characters is Scaramouche who will apparently be a part of one of the upcoming Genshin Impact updates. Since his introduction back in update 1.1, Scaramouche has always been one of the most popular characters in the game, despite being a villain.
A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit apparently gives more information about Scaramouche's kit. These leaks confirm previous rumors that Scaramouche will go through some sizable changes before becoming a playable character. One of those changes includes changing his Electro element with an Anemo Vision. According to the leaks, his Elemental Skill will cause him to leap in the air, and provide elemental infusion to enemies underneath which is similar to Kazuha's skill. This will put Scara into a special mid-air state in which can adjust his position by consuming a portion of his Stamina bar.
Scaramouche's Elemental Burst will apparently be a stronger version of Heizou's Windmuster Kick. This skill will cause him to jump in the air and create an Eye of the Storm, which is very similar to Venti's Wind's Grand Ode. This object will pull enemies in, and it can be infused with different elements, just like Venti's Stormeye. When it comes to his weapon of choice, Scaramouche will apparently be using a Catalyst, but even though that's usually a ranged weapon, he will prefer close combat, just like Heizou.
There is still no credible information about the Wanderer's role in a team comp, but he is expected to be a very offensive character. Players expected him to be one of the end-game bosses, but it seems like he will be switching to the good side sooner than expected. However, before joining the playable roster, players will first have to fight Scara in the upcoming Genshin Impact update 3.2 in order to free Lesser Lord Kusanali.
According to the official storyline, Scaramouche was originally made to be the vessel for the Electro Archon, but after shedding a couple of tears after birth, Ei thought that he was too soft for such an important role. The Wanderer's powers were sealed, and he was allowed to choose his own path which led him to become one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers and since then he became known as Scaramouche.
Genshin Impact is now available on mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5.
