A new post on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit shows the synergy between two upcoming characters, Nilou and Nahida. Players are allowed to have up to four different characters in their party and combine their elements in order to trigger various elemental reactions.

The recent Genshin Impact live stream event confirmed that Nilou will be featured on the second banner cycle of 3.1 alongside Albedo. While there is still no official release date for Nahida, she is expected to arrive in update 3.2.

A new video leak shows that the Dendro Archon Nahida and the Hydro sword user Nilou could work well within the same team composition. This type of team comp relies on Bloom which is one of the new Dendro elemental reactions that can be triggered by combining Hydro and Dendro. This elemental reaction drops small Dendro Cores that explode after a few seconds and deal AoE damage. Besides Nilou and Nahida, the party shown in the video also includes the Dendro version of the Traveler and Sangonomiya Kokomi who's a solid Hydro applicator.

It should be noted that the damage numbers are most likely inaccurate as it was recorded on a private server and the main purpose of the video is to show how these characters interact with each other on the battlefield. As a new Archon, Nahida will probably be one of the strongest characters in the Genshin Impact roster. She is confirmed to be a new Dendro support, making her the go-to choice for most team compositions that rely on strong Dendro applications on the field.

Even though Nahida is probably the strongest character on the field, Nilou is the most crucial part of this team composition as her whole kit revolves around triggering Bloom. One of her passive talents can turn the Dendro Cores into Bountiful Cores which reduces their time to explode and increases the area of effect.

The fact that only five cores can coexist on the field means that Nilou significantly increases the productivity and overall damage output of this party. While the video proves that this could be one of the strongest and most fun-to-use types of team comps, a couple of players in the comment section have pointed out that it could be even stronger if the Dendro Traveler is swapped with a Hydro character like Yelan or Xingqiu.

Genshin Impact is now available on mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
