A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed that the five-star Geo user Arataki Itto will appear on the first banner of the next update. The game's official social media accounts have already confirmed the arrival of two new characters in the upcoming update, the five-star Anemo user Wanderer and a new four-star character known as Faruzan.

Re-runs have become very popular in the game and even new roster additions like the popular Dendro Archon Nahida are paired with a re-run character like Yoimiya. Double banners allow Genshin Impact players to pull for two limited five-star characters simultaneously within the same banner cycle.

A popular Genshin Impact leaker named Uncle Lu has confirmed that Itto's re-run will arrive in the first banner cycle of Genshin Impact version 3.3 alongside the famous Wanderer, previously known as Scaramouche. Itto's last re-run was back in update 2.7, but many players decided to skip his banner in order to pull for the new Hydro user Yelan who appeared in the same update. He is the only five-star DPS character in the game that uses the Geo element which makes him a crucial part of the famous Geo party. Itto is considered a "selfish" DPS since he cannot provide any additional utility when he leaves the field.

Swapping to another character while his elemental burst, Royal Descent, is active will immediately end its effect which can impact his overall damage potential. Players who want to get Itto should also try to acquire Gorou, a four-star support designed to play around a Geo DPS unit. There is a very high chance that Gorou arrives on the same banner as the leader of the Arataki Gang since this was the case in all of his previous arrivals.

Some fans claim that the only reason why they will avoid pulling for Itto is the fact that he is paired with Wanderer who has been one of the most anticipated characters in Genshin Impact. According to recent beta leaks, he will bring a completely new style of gameplay that allows him to float over his enemies with the help of his elemental skill.

While HoYoverse is yet to confirm his role within a team comp, Wanderer is expected to be a new DPS character with strong sub-DPS potential. Wanderer's ability to rise up in the air will also make him a valuable asset while exploring the world of Teyvat. According to the game's usual update schedule, version 3.3 is expected to arrive in the first half of December.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
