Genshin Impact's world consists of seven different nations which are protected by The Seven Archons. Each major update introduces a new major region and its sacred protector, with Inazuma's Raiden Shogun being the most recent addition.

The official Genshin Impact livestream for update 2.6 has revealed more information about a new region named Chasm. However, it seems as though Chasm won't be the only new terrain that will arrive in the foreseeable future as multiple leaks hint at a new major region and its Archon. A popular leaker has revealed more information about the famous Dendro Archon, who could arrive sooner than expected.

A recent post by a credible Genshin Impact leaker named SaveYourPrmos has apparently revealed the appearance of the Dendro Archon. The game has already introduced three playable Genshin Impact Archons which include Venti, Zhongli, and Raiden Shogun. So far, the new Archon has been referred to as Lesser Lord Kulinali and Flower Archon, and he's confirmed to be the youngest out of The Seven. The Flower Archon is expected to arrive alongside a brand new major region named Sumeru.

There is a total of seven main nations in Genshin Impact, and each of them has its respective nation with its divine ideals. Sumeru's protector rules in the pursuit of all knowledge, and he is also known as the God of Wisdom. Multiple rumors have already revealed that Sumeru is the next major Genshin Impact region to be released, most likely in update 3.0 which, according to numerous leakers, is scheduled to arrive after update 2.8.

Genshin Impact features seven different elements, with Dendro being the only one that is not used by any playable character at the moment. However, the introduction of Sumeru will most likely bring new characters that will use this element, and previous leaks revealed that Yaoyao will be the first four-star Dendro user. Adding a new element to the playable roster could completely change the current meta considering that it will add at least four new elemental reactions.

The last Genshin Impact Archon added to the game was the popular Raiden Shogun. Her first arrival has broken all records, and her original banner is still the most pulled limited banner in the game. Players who've missed her first banner appearance should definitely try to pull for her now considering that she's a part of the current double banner alongside Sangonomiya Kokomi.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
