A new Genshin Impact leak shows a fight between the upcoming five-star character Dehya and a mysterious new enemy who is expected to arrive in 3.5. Developer HoYoverse has already officially announced two new characters for the next update, the Pyro user Dehya and the Cryo catalyst Mika.

Over the last couple of months, Genshin Impact has introduced a pattern of introducing new characters in the roster in the first banner cycle. This means that both Dehya and Mika can be expected to arrive in the first part of version 3.5 which should drop around March 5, at least according to HoYoverse's usual update schedule.

A new video posted on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit shows more footage of the upcoming Pyro claymore character Dehya, also known as the Flame-Mane. She is known as a skillful fighter who belongs to the Eremites, a group of mercenaries that hail from Sumeru's deserts. There is not a lot of information about the new enemy other than that he probably belongs to the Black Serpent enemy type. They are known as elite enemies that are usually found in underground parts of Teyvat. The new Serpent Knight shown in the video seems much bigger than the other serpents, and his kit seems to be infused with Geo elemental powers.

A lot of players claim they like the new enemy design, especially since he can split his giant axe into two smaller axes. Some comments praise HoYoverse for allowing Dehya to have very high interruption resistance on her Elemental Burst - The Lioness's Bite. This ability makes Dehya unleash her burning anger and allows her to enter the Blazing Lioness state which turns her into a bruiser-like DPS character. She even tosses her claymore aside and switches to hand-to-hand combat.

Many fans were previously worried about the duration of Dehya's burst, however, the video proves that she will be able to attack at least 15 times during her Blazing Lioness state which is more than enough to dish out a significant amount of damage. Even though she will be the primary DPS in most Genshin Impact team compositions, Dehya might also have decent sub-DPS capabilities.

Thanks to her Elemental Skill, Molten Inferno, Dehya can deploy a field effect named Fiery Sanctum which deals tons of AoE Pyro damage in a large area. It should be noted that the video was recorded on a private server which means that the damage numbers could be slightly inaccurate and players will have to wait for Genshin Impact update 3.5 to see her real damage potential.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
