A new Genshin Impact leak reveals more details about the complete map of Teyvat which is the name of the game's main continent. The game's tight update schedule allows HoYoverse to expand the game with every other update.

So far, Genshin Impact features four major regions with the mysterious land of Sumeru being the most recent addition. A very credible leaker named Lumie has shared an interesting picture showing more details about Genshin Impact's whole map.

The map shown in the leak has been previously shared in the community, and it was part of the original CBT version of the game. However, unlike previous versions, this one has additional descriptions made by the developers and gives a better insight into how the complete map could look. According to Lumie, this map was put together in January 2021 which was four months after the game was officially released, however, the developer notes were apparently made in 2019 which confirms that many parts of the map and story were planned long before Genshin Impact officially arrived.

Even though the map has been changed since then, the general positioning of the major regions remained the same. Multiple replies in the comment section have pointed out an interesting detail on the map named Arabalika's Fight Club which is apparently located in around the Volcano in the Scotched Lava Lands. Arabalika is a new NPC that appeared in the new Sumeru region. Despite his innocent appearance, Arabalika has proven to be a very powerful character as he managed to defeat a Ruin Guard by himself.

As a fan-favorite character, players seem very happy that Arabalika's story expands outside the Sumeru region which is rarely the case for most NPCs. Even though there were a lot of expectations for Sumeru, it seems like the new major region managed to exceed almost all of them, at least according to numerous posts and comments on the game's official subReddit.

Fans claim that HoYoverse took the game's exploration experience, which is one of its greatest assets, to the next level with a region that is far more interactive than Mondstadt, Liyue, or Inazuma. Sumeru's random NPCs can be seen invested in various activities such as playing music, dancing around, or fishing which breaks the illusion that they are patiently waiting for their battle with the main character. Players hope that HoYoverse continues with the same approach to world design in Genshin Impact's next major region which is expected to be Fontaine.

Genshin Impact is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is currently in development.
