A new Genshin Impact leak reveals more details about the upcoming skin for the Cryo user Kamisato Ayaka. Even though the game's gacha system revolves around its playable roster, developer HoYoverse does not introduce character cosmetics very often, at least compared to most free-to-play games.

The last two Genshin Impact skins were introduced back in update 2.8, and they were designed for the five-star Pyro user Dilus and the four-star character Fischl. Recent leaks and rumors have been hinting that two more skins are on their way to join the live servers in the upcoming updates.

A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit reveals more details about one of the new skins for Ayaka. According to the leak, Ayaka will be the second character in the game to receive a five-star costume after Diluc's Red Dead of Night skin. This means that her costume will have special effects attached to all of her skills, and she will probably have different idle animations. When it comes to the price, players can expect it to cost around 2480 Genesis Crystals which is around $40, but they will probably be able to get the skin for a discount of 1980 Crystals for the duration of the event which was the case with Diluc's five-star costume.

Genshin Impact Ayaka skin leaks

The Cryo user Ayaka is one of the fan-favorite characters in the community and her re-run still holds the record for most pulls within a single banner cycle, but it should be noted that these numbers were likely inflated due to a three-week delay that occurred in update 2.6. She is one of the best DPS characters in Genshin Impact with the ability to deal tons of elemental damage which makes Mistsplitter Reforged the go-to weapon for her build.

Ayaka won't be the only character to receive a new outfit as previous leaks confirmed that the four-star character Lisa will also get a new cosmetic piece. Fans like the fact that her skin will be Sumeru-themed since she was known as one of the most distinguished graduates in Sumeru Akademiya.

Some players hope that HoYoverse decides to grant Lisa's skin for free to players that complete the event-exclusive quest lines. Lisa is part of the free-to-play squad that players receive at the start of their journey through the world of Teyvat. There is still no official information about the costumes' release date, but they are expected to arrive in the two upcoming Genshin Impact updates.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
